The Driftmare phenomena occurs mainly near or on the day of Halloween. The desires of a Drifblim's floating affects sleeping people and pokemon to be inflated in their sleep. The actual bodies don't inflate as much as in the dream unless the dreamer is so entuned to the Driftmare, their bodies will swell up faster. The Drifblim aren't sinister in inflating people. They think it's normal to float or explode. They often feed on emotions of those stuck in the Driftmare. Fear or joy of the inflation are their preference.
