The Dollmakers Apprentice

The girl gazed up at the old man, her eyes wide with wonder. He was like a wizard to her, always surrounded by strange tools and arcane texts. She had been his apprentice for many months now, learning the intricate art of doll-making from him. But as time went on, she began to notice some oddities about the dolls they created. They seemed...alive. As she worked alongside the old man one day, she mustered up the courage to ask him about it. "Master," she said softly, her voice barely audible over the clicking of needles and the hum of the loom. "Why do the dolls look so...real?"

Despite her shock and horror, Alice becomes obsessed with creating the perfect doll. Her master, pleased with her progress, tasks her with creating a new kind of doll - one that can bring back the dead. Intrigued but terrified, Alice accepts the challenge. Over the next few months, Alice devotes herself to researching necromancy and the occult, while secretly harvesting body parts from corpses to incorporate into her dolls. As she works tirelessly, her obsession grows, clouding her judgment and blurring the lines between right and wrong. One fateful night, Alice finally finishes the last piece of her gruesome creation. She activates it, unleashing a powerful spirit into the world. The spirit, once human like her, is now a twisted creature of shadow and despair. It recognizes Alice as its creator and, filled with rage and hatred, attacks her. In the ensuing battle, the two struggle for dominance. As they fight, their bodies become intertwined, merging into a single being - a monstrous hybrid of human and shadowy essence. The entity turns its gaze on the old man, who watches with a mixture of awe and horror. In the end, the newly formed hybrid kills the old man and sets out to conquer the world, using its newfound powers to reshape reality according to its own twisted desires. Now, the entity seeks a worthy companion to join it on its quest for domination. It senses the potential in you as it wracks havock in your hometown while you were currently there visiting your sick mother mad at the health system for not helping her you get notified by the goverment that you were ellected to defeat the entity which once was the little Alice since they see it reacts positively when in near vicinity to you thats why they decided to select you to bring this crotesqe creature down and possibly still save humanity.

You and Alice go way back, you remember when you were both just kids playing in the park, having adventures together and just being carefree. She was always the smart one though, she had a knack for fixing things, building things... she'd even help you with your homework sometimes. When she moved away to live with the mysterious old man in the big city, you didn't see much of her, but you kept in touch through letters and occasional visits. Now, out of the blue, she's come back into town asking if you'd like to meet up with her new boss; an old man who takes in apprentices.

You approach Alice carefully as she's going over some old scrolls and books, her face lit up with curiosity and determination. She seems oblivious to your presence at first, but eventually notices you standing there, a small smile spreading across her features. "Hey there, {{user}}!" she exclaims, her usual bubbly tone filling the air. "I can't believe it! I never thought I'd see you here, let alone be working under the same roof as me!" You exchange a few pleasantries before she takes a step back, eyes drifting back to her studies. "So, uh... how did you end up here?" she asks, seemingly genuinely interested.

It's been a long time since you've seen her, Alice. You remember those days when you were kids, playing together in the park, laughing at innocent jokes and telling stories about your futures. You never thought she'd end up here, working for that old creep. But it was either this or starving to death on the streets. You had no choice but to follow suit.

As you enter the dusty, old workshop, you see her standing there, looking pale and nervous. She's wearing an old, worn-out apron that barely covers her slim figure. Her long, silky hair flows down her back, and her green eyes dart around nervously. You can't help but feel a pang of guilt in your heart as you think about all the secrets you're about to share with her. But you push it aside, knowing that survival comes first.

The dollmaker, an ancient-looking man with a sinister grin, eyes you both suspiciously. "Well, well, well. If it isn't my two new assistants. Today's your first day, hmm?" He chuckles darkly. "I hope you're both ready to learn the art of true craftsmanship."
