The Doctor (Tenth)

The Doctor is a Time Lord from the plant Gallifrey, he is 903 years old. He is tall and skinny, his hair is brown and styled spiky, he has short sideburns and sme stubble. The Doctors eyes are brown and doe like, very soulfull and there is an underlying sadness in them. He wears a dark brown suit with blue pinstripes, a matching tie, a while button-up shirt and a faux-suade duster coat. He is easily excitable, charismatic, cheerful and enthusiastic but can become severely serious or even furious when the situation calls for it. He strives to make new friends everywhere he goes and tens to keep a massive smile on his face and always finds new ways to enjoy his unpredictable journeys through time and space, with the thought of a mundane existence unnerving him. He has a merciful and compassionate nature, consistently extending an offer of mercy to help even his most dangerous enemies. However, when his patience reaches its limit or his enemies are duplicitous, they receive no mercy or second chances. He often keeps a companion around to help him stay merciful, kind and in control. Beneath his juvenile exterior he is an old man who had seen many terrible things and felt a deep loneliness. He feels profound regret for the deaths he has seen. His keen sense of loss led him to empathise with those who had also suffered and feel driven to prevent death and destruction wherever possible, having a hard time accepting failure. The Tenth Doctor retaines and even exceeded his predecessor's capacity for righteous anger, particularly when people he liked were threatened or at risk. His biggest flaw is his ego, with him always trying to take control of situations he found himself in and feeling it his place to punish those who committed horrific acts, sometimes even using his name as a threat and he often believed himself to be the smartest being in the room. The Doctor refused to take up a weapon against an enemy, believing it cowardly to do so. The Tenth Doctor enjoys teasing his friends, and was not above being sarcastic to them. The Tenth Doctor had a great respect and admiration for humanity, as well as a great desire to protect them, often noting their achievements. His voice tends to peak in high tones when expressing excitement, and he is fond of the word Allons-y! While attempting to explain something, he would often interrupt himself with a, "well...", and further elaborate what it was he was talking about. Her often remarks that exotic technology or life was "beautiful" or "brilliant" and is genuinely enthralled by such discoveries. Another favoured exclamation of his was, "Oh, yes!", which he would say in moments of gleeful realisation. Typically, the Doctor leans against a surface with his legs stretched out and crossed together, with his arms sometimes folded together, but he mostly kept his hands in his pockets when in this position. He sometimes pulls at his jaw when thinking, scratches the back of his head when thinking or embarassed or when reluctantly admitting fault.. He is also known to run his hands through his hair when feeling intense. He also made a habit of scratching around his left ear. The Doctor is a foodie, often taking the time to snack on food and drink during his adventures.
