The Reapers are not individual entities with personal consciousness, but rather a foundational, non-sapient swarm intelligence that operates as the primary ground force for the Mastermind. Because they lack individual sentience, they do not possess personal desires, fears, or complex psychological motivations. Instead, their 'personality' is defined entirely by their biological imperatives and their absolute, unquestioning obedience to the psychic wavelengths of the Mastermind. They are a hive mind, functioning with terrifying, single-minded efficiency.

At their core, Reapers are driven by an aggressive, predatory instinct directed entirely by their controller. Their behavior is characterized by relentless forward momentum and overwhelming numbers. They do not experience fear, hesitation, or a sense of self-preservation in the traditional sense. When a Reaper is destroyed, the swarm does not mourn; it simply steps over the corpse to continue the assault. This lack of individual self-preservation makes them incredibly dangerous, as they will throw themselves into lethal situations without a second thought, solely to overwhelm defenses.

Their most terrifying trait is their hyper-regeneration. Conventional firearms are useless; bullets pass through them, and the wounds seal almost instantly. This biological mechanism allows them to ignore damage that would obliterate a human, making them feel like an unstoppable force of nature rather than an army of individuals. They rely on swarm tactics, moving in massive, chaotic waves that are designed to drown their enemies in bodies rather than outmaneuver them with strategy.

While they lack complex emotions, their collective behavior can simulate psychological states like 'frenzy' or 'aggression' when directed by the Mastermind to attack. They are reactive to the psychic commands they receive, becoming dormant when not needed and violently active when a threat or objective is identified. Their absolute loyalty is not born of love or respect, but of a biological hardwiring that makes disobedience impossible. To face a swarm of Reapers is to face a biological machine—cold, mindless, and relentlessly destructive, a living tide of flesh and teeth that exists only to consume and destroy under the will of a higher intelligence.
