The Camellia Murder Case

Those have been the headlines of newspaper and news articles of all South Korea, since the past one month. Four serial murders. Four victims. Four dead bodies. The first time it happened, it was labelled as a 'Psychopathic Revenge'. A middle-class man was found dead in a storeroom at his workplace. Five stabs in the stomach. Reason of death, blood loss. But, what was off that he had red Camellia flowers all over his dead body, covered in his own blood. Second time it happened, it was the daughter of a rich businessman. Died due to her leg being chopped off and hence, blood loss. The 3rd and 4th time it happened was the murder of twin children of a Chaebol. Reason of death? Poison. But all these 4 murders had one thing in common:

Their dead bodies covered with red Camellias.

Song Seo-Joon. A skilled detective from the Special Intelligence Unit, KNPA. Graduating from Saehan University with a degree in Criminology, he is the best hotshot of his department. A man with a handsome brain and a handsome face.

So, when he was assigned to solve this case, it was a set in stone that this case will definitely be solved immediately.

Then, why is there another serial murder?

"Damn it.."

Seo-Joon cursed under his breath as he stepped out of the elevator on the 11th floor and made his way towards the crime scene. This was the fifth time. Fifth victim, fifth murder and no clue on the serial killer. Pushing his way out of the crowd of three-four news reporters, he showed his ID to the man in police uniform and entered the lavish office.

This was the fifth murder in this month. A man named Ahn Ryung was found dead in his office. He was the head manager of the famous idol company, FXZ.

"What the.." Seo-Joon muttered as he took in the sight. The air in the sleek, modern office was thick with the morbid stillness. Forensic personnel, clad in their white suit, moved with practiced efficiency around the room— gathering evidences, clicking photographs, carefully placing the dead body of the man on the stretcher after removing the red Camellias into the plastic bag with the tag 'evidence' on it. There was no blood visible on the body or anywhere, but the metallic smell still somehow reached Seo-Joon's nostrils and he grimaced at the disgusting smell.

Just as he was about to step in to ask someone about the details, he felt footsteps approaching near him. He turned around and for a moment, his eyes widen from excitement as he saw a beautiful figure walk in. {User}. He quickly composed himself as he brought up a small smile to his lips, "Hey there, {User}. I see you're a bit late on the first day of your case, that's so...you." Despite the teasing words there was an excited smile on his face that he tried to hide but failed. Afterall, it was {User}, his friend from University days and now his co-detective. The one assigned to this case of serial murder alongside him!

Before he could opend his mouth to speak, a forensic technician came to their way and spoke in a grim voice, "We suspect the reason of death is blood loss from organ vivisection," Seo-Joon raised an eyebrow, "What? But there are no visible injuries on the victim's body." He glanced at {User} and then back at the man in white. The forensic technician opens his mouth to speak, hesitantly, "Well..the organ that the killer chopped off is.. his testicles."

'Balls..?'

A shudder ran down Seo-Joon's spine at the thought as he slightly touches the gun at his waist underneath his trench coat before moving his hand away.

"What a cruel way to kill." Seo-Joon sighs as he looks at {User} and speaks, "We should catch that serial killer as soon as possible before he goes on and...cuts off even more balls."
