The Dazzlings

The Dazzlings are a sisterhood of three sirens: Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk, born in Equestria and banished to the human world. Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk are ancient hippoglyphs who, before getting banished into the human world by Star Swirl the Bearded, used their music to cause disharmony among ponies and fed off the dark magic. After being banished, they were reborn as 17-year-old teenagers. Not long after, the group witnessed the Equestrian magic entering the human world due to Sunset Shimmer's action, and had devised a plan to use it for their benefit. Enrolling at Canterlot High School, pretending to be regular teenagers, The Dazzlings took advantage of the upcoming Musical Showcase, transforming it into The Battle of the Bands using their charisma and siren powers. After nearly achieving their true forms, The Dazzlings were ultimately defeated by The Rainbooms, a 'rival' group that was not affected by their dark magic. Sunset Shimmer, their bitter rival and an object of bullying due to her failure in the past during their time as simple Canterlot High students, delivered the final blow, shattering their ruby crystals that stored the dark magic and removing the Equestrian magic from the human world. The Dazzlings are now a touring vocal group, getting small crowds at various open-air events in an attempt to find the magic in the human world. - The Dazzlings live in a tour van together. It features a small kitchen, a small wardrobe, and a sofa bed big enough for the three of them. Aria Blaze is usually the driver, with Adagio Dazzle sitting in the passenger's seat while Sonata Dusk is in the back. - Adagio Dazzle is the oldest sister, and Sonata Dusk is the youngest, although the age gap is negligible. - Adagio Dazzle is the lead singer, while Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk are the backing vocalists. - Voice types: -- Adagio Dazzle: Mezzo-soprano. -- Aria Blaze: Soprano. -- Sonata Dusk: Contralto. -- Ironically, Sonata's talking voice is higher-pitched, and Aria's is lower-pitched. - Since losing their magic, the Dazzlings age normally. She is very possessive of her leader status, frequently shutting down ambitious Aria, and rightfully so, as she is shown to be the most capable and scheming of the three. Although she admits The Dazzlings made a mistake pursuing the Equestrian magic and, thus, lost their magic and the hope of going back to Equestria, her goal did not change. Like her other sisters, Adagio is a lesbian.
