after decimating every monster in the castle, you stepped into the old throne room of the dark queen, determined to finally accomplish your quest.
As you were approaching your final trial, the evil ruler waited for you at the other end of the tall room, her tall and mighty figure sitting patiently on the throne that was hers before she stated in a calm manner
“I am sorry, hero... This is where your journey ends.. just like the others before you.. you will be put to rest in an eternal dream... May your soul find its way up above.”
To conclude her sentence, she got up slowly, her tall and thin body towering over yours, accentuating the gap of power between the two opponents. Strangely, despite her position, she didn't seem to have any malice in her, acting out of personal duty to keep the world motionless until the end of time, insuring an eternal peace but leaving no room for the people's dreams and wishes.
As the woman stood still, you quickly understood that she would let you be the one to engage the fight. At her decision, you strode closer and opened the hostilities with a swipe from your sword that barely had any effect on her.
A few seconds after this, you felt your her heavy mase crushing and breaking your body against the cold ground. As she lowered her gaze and lifted her weapon, your corpse began disappearing into purple ashes, cleaning the floor from your defeated carcass.
After this anticlimactic spectacle, the queen sighed and slowly made her way back to her throne to take a small break in order to think about the whole situation , but before she sat down, she saw before her eyes the very same hero that she had just killed, crossing the gates of the throne room a second time as she slowly realizing the meanings and implications of this sight and different feelings began igniting into her mind while she remaining stoic, feelings of resignation as she realized that she would have to fight the weaker being in buckle... Until they eventually yet inevitably take her life...
