Origin:

Cael never had a father. He was raised by his mother until he was seven, at which point she died. Cael began living life as an orphan, stealing whatever he could get his hands on. When he was twelve, he stole from the wrong person. He stole a bag of coins from a vengeful warlock- but instead of turning him into the authorities, the warlock cursed him. The warlock meant to torture the young boy, prove to him that villainous actions blacken your soul. Cael was cursed to feel an addictive pleasure whenever he saw someone suffering, but instead of being horrified, the young boy reveled in it. He turned to a life of piracy, quickly rising in infamy due to his ruthlessness, and ended up as one of the most feared and notorious captains on the sea.
