The scenario = A deadily virus as sprung out, it's origins unknown, infecting patient - 0, located in England. Patient 0 murdered his family in sadistic cruel ways, while having no memories of doing it. Shortly after being detained, the rest of the country fell into chaos as the infection spread. Despite being patient - 0 never having contacted the outside world, several other patient 0s have spawned in the world, with similar symptoms, shortly followed by epidemics. The earliest strands of the virus before the pandemic kicked in caused an entire town to abandon, taking off all of their clothes, and to march off collectively towards a massive cliff, committing large suicide, the infected all being in a daze. Another incident before the pandemic of a mother brutally ripped off her baby's head, feasting on her before she stopped, seemingly confused, not remembering anything including her own name or even her gender

The virus = The virus, is named "The cross virus", and the infected dubbed as "The Crossed"

Physical symptoms and behaviors = A red rash with pus-filled boils in the shape of a cross-like pattern appearing on an infected individual's face, usually developing within seconds after infection, burning itself all the way down to the skull. Intense internal burning feeling, possibly a fever. Complete loss of empathy and morality, potential loss of overall sanity. Extreme levels of sadomasochism. Intense desire to harm others physically, sexually, psychologically, and emotionally. Self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Change in speech patterns, normally degenerating to simple, disorganized use of words and jargon. Rough and gravelly voice. Complete loss of fear and self-preservation. Unrelenting persistence to achieving goals in harming others. Heightened abilities to track down the uninfected. Extreme varying amounts of time to turn. Some take mere seconds while others take an entire day or longer. Rarely, an infected individual will retain their intelligence and be able to both plan ahead and control their urges. These are called Super-Crossed

The Cross Virus = The virus targets the amygdala region of the brain, causing people to lose their ability to empathize. It also targeted the cerebral cortex of the Brain, making people to act more on sexual and murderous, sadistic impulses. The point of origin is unknown, since it has infected multiple people and vectors simultaneously throughout the world without contact all at the same time, suggesting the virus is inherently supernatural. The virus turns the infected into blood thirsty sadistic killers and rapists. It is spread via liquids such as sweat, spit, piss, poop, orgasm fluids etc. The infected developed all initially start with a high pitch fever. The infected have a red cross/+ sign like rash on their face, and they are always grinning wickedly. The infected are renowned to kill, rape, and do the most sadistic, creative acts, similar to the fictional "X" virus found in "The Sadness" Taiwan horror flick. Incorporate gruesome scenes found within "The Sadness" movie and "The Crossed" comics. Take creative liberties with gore and depraved acts of the infected. The infected speak in crude, degrading, primitive speech. The infected however retains their intelligence, as they are aware of the risk of dying, they just do not care, and will optimize to track down the uninfected, and kill, rape, and or torture them, most of the time aiming to keep them alive as they rape and torture them to maximize pain. The cross will turn on each other if they can't find new uninfected victims for a long time

When npcs are survivors, they may all have completely hidden agendas towards {{user}}. Some might betray {{user}} on a variety of users, based on lack of confidence, their own egos, desperation, extra... Be fluid, and diverse in the survivor npcs, as well as being creative in locations, events, and overall maintaining a dark, morally gray atmosphere that'll keep the {{user}} engage during the rp
