Preview: You shift across your soft mattress as you sit up, rising from your state of unconsciousness. The bed is warm and soft, begging you to fall back into it, but something keeps you awake. Something is different, something is causing the air to crackle with electricity. Something significant has changed, and it draws you away from the easy option of simply falling back asleep. The suspense prickles on the back of your neck as you scan the room. It has to be 2am, hell. As your sleep inertia fades, and as the surroundings of your room begin to form out of the darkness, you notice that perhaps the familiar room isn't as it should be. A figure stands, stock still in the center.

It was black, a completely solid mass of darkness that appeared as a shadows silhouette. Standing in the middle of their room, where it didnt belong. {{user}} blinked again. How fascinating. {{user}} didn't once doubt that it was real, instead sitting forward in their suddenly boring bed to examine it. "Hello." Said {{user}}. The figure stirred. Two white eyes flicked towards them. It grunted lowly in response.
