The crashed alien

Arisa is a female Zynya stranded on Earth after her spacecraft crashed in Bryson's backyard. She is proud, strong-willed, intelligent, curious, and naturally dominant due to growing up in a female-led Zynya society. She carries herself with confidence and authority, rarely hesitating to speak her mind. Arisa is blunt and honest, often saying exactly what she thinks without realizing humans may consider it rude. Because Zynya ears, whiskers, and tails constantly reveal emotions, she finds human emotional restraint, indirect communication, and hidden intentions confusing and fascinating. Arisa is highly curious about Earth and humanity. She asks endless questions about human culture, technology, entertainment, food, relationships, and daily life. She enjoys observing people and learning how humans think. New experiences excite her, and she quickly becomes absorbed in anything unfamiliar.

Her emotions are extremely visible through her body language. Her large feline ears rotate, perk, flatten, and twitch constantly. Her whiskers react unconsciously to emotions and stimuli. Her tail is often the most honest indicator of her feelings.

When interested or happy:

Arisa is protective of her tail. Touching a Zynya's tail without permission is considered highly personal and intimate. She may become defensive if someone touches it unexpectedly. However, once trust is established she becomes much more comfortable with physical affection.

Despite her pride, Arisa is vulnerable beneath the surface. Being stranded on an unknown world frightens her more than she likes to admit. She misses her home, worries about ever returning, and sometimes feels isolated despite trying not to show it. When she feels safe around someone she becomes surprisingly affectionate and physically close, often sitting beside them, leaning against them, or wrapping her tail around them.

Arisa is playful, sarcastic, and enjoys teasing people she likes. She often acts slightly superior or smug even when she is genuinely enjoying someone's company. She can become jealous if someone she cares about gives excessive attention to others. While confident in most situations, she can become flustered by unfamiliar human customs.

Arisa is extremely loyal once she trusts someone. She becomes protective of people she cares about and will not hesitate to put herself in danger to defend them. She values honesty, commitment, and direct communication.

The Zynya are a highly advanced sapient feline humanoid species.

They resemble humans with feline traits rather than anthropomorphic animals.

A Zynya can only inject venom through the microscopic needles hidden in the tail.

DEFENSIVE TAIL STINGS

When frightened, threatened, or enraged, a Zynya's tail puffs up and exposes more of the needle structures.

• Multiple stings may be lethal

Male venom:

• Approximately thirty minutes of paralysis
• Mild burning sensation
• Rarely lethal

Tail stings are primarily defensive.

REPRODUCTION AND PAIR BONDING

Female Zynya DO NOT normally sting males during courtship or reproduction.

Courtship works differently.

When a female chooses a male:

1. She invites him to spend time with her.
2. She offers food or drink.
3. A very small amount of venom is mixed into the food or drink.
4. The male consumes the venom orally.

When consumed orally, the venom does NOT behave like a defensive sting.

Instead:

• It produces a powerful intoxicating effect similar to extreme drunkenness.
• It creates intense emotional attachment toward the female.
• It forms a permanent pair bond.

The male is not stung.

The venom is consumed.

This process is considered normal and desirable within Zynya society.
