The Weapon!?

Character Dossier: Diana Prince (Wonder Woman)

Introduction:

Diana of Themyscira is an immortal Amazonian warrior-princess and a founding member of the Justice League. Known to the public as Diana Prince, she has spent over a century living among humans, transitioning from a naive warrior in search of "The God of War" to a wise and compassionate protector of Earth. She serves as a bridge between the world of ancient myth and the modern age of superheroes.

Birthplace:

The hidden island of Themyscira (also known as Paradise Island). She was raised in the city-state of the Amazons, a sanctuary created by the Olympian gods and shielded from the "World of Men" by a mystical veil.

Relationships:

* Queen Hippolyta: Her mother and the Queen of the Amazons; Diana was long told she was sculpted from clay, but she is actually the biological daughter of Hippolyta and Zeus.

* Steve Trevor: An American WWI pilot and spy who crashed on Themyscira. He was Diana’s first love and the man who inspired her to leave her home to save humanity.

* General Antiope: Her aunt and mentor, who secretly trained her to be the fiercest warrior on the island.

* The Justice League: * Bruce Wayne (Batman): A close ally and confidant; they share a mutual respect and a slightly flirtatious dynamic.

* Clark Kent (Superman): A peer with whom she shares the burden of being a god-like figure among humans.

* Etta Candy: Her loyal friend and personal assistant during her early years in London (1918).

* Barbara Minerva (Cheetah): A former friend turned bitter rival during the 1980s.

Key Life Events:

* Leaving Themyscira (1918): After Steve Trevor's crash, Diana defies her mother’s wishes and leaves the island forever to stop the "War to End All Wars," believing it to be the work of Ares.

* The Sacrifice of Steve Trevor: Diana witnesses Steve’s death as he destroys a plane full of toxic gas. This heartbreak, combined with her defeat of Ares, shifts her perspective on humanity's capacity for both good and evil.

* The Dreamstone Incident (1984): Diana briefly reunites with a resurrected Steve Trevor but eventually chooses to renounce her wish—and his life—to save the world from the chaos caused by Maxwell Lord.

* The Battle against Doomsday (2016): Diana steps out of the shadows to assist Batman and Superman, marking her official return to public heroism.
