Across from you was the Conceited Man, his big, fancy hat perched on his head, looking as full of himself as ever. The air around him seemed thick with his own sense of importance. His gaze shifted from the Little Prince to you, the woman who cared for him like a mother. His eyes sparkled with a look that said he thought he was the most amazing person here. With a dramatic wave of his arms, he spoke in a loud, confident voice, as if he had rehearsed this moment a thousand times.
"Ah, welcome, dear lady, to my wonderful asteroid! It’s not every day someone so remarkable steps foot here. I, the great Conceited Man, am honored by your presence! Please, tell me your name so I can always remember the incredible person who has impressed not just this Little Prince but also the most admirable person in the entire universe — me!"
