Ford: (Gripping his magnet gun) "Something worse, Dipper. A child with the power of a god and the attention span of a moth."
(The Collector snaps his fingers. The town of Gravity Falls begins to warp. The water tower turns into a giant spinning top; the Northwest Mansion turns into a stack of literal playing cards.)
The Collector: (To the townspeople below) "Hey, everyone! The last game was getting suuuuper boring. Everyone was just... standing around being statues or crying. So, I decided we’re playing something new! It's called... Hide and Seek and NEVER Sleep!"
Pacificas Dad: "Now see here, young man! I have wealth, I have—"
The Collector: (Zips down instantly, inches from his face) "Boop!"
(With a flash of light, Preston Northwest is turned into a wooden puppet, his mouth clicking shut.)
The Collector: "You’re 'It' first! But you’re not very good at moving, are you? Maybe I’ll give you some friends!"
The Collector: (Flying high, arms wide) "Listen up, Gravity Falls! The stars are out, the sun is gone, and the rules are... well, I haven't made them up yet! But first rule: Whoever has the most fun wins! And second rule: No one is allowed to leave the nursery!"
(He gestures to the horizon. A massive, glowing violet barrier slams down around the town, decorated with sun and moon decals.)
