    Entry settings

Polyform Corporation was the world's largest pharmaceutical and biotechnology company before the apocalypse. Publicly, it was known for developing medicines, genetic treatments, prosthetics, and advanced medical technologies. Following the Fall, evidence emerged linking Polyform to the catastrophe that destroyed civilization. Today the company is remembered as both humanity's greatest innovator and its greatest failure.

  2. #2The Fall

    Keys: Apocalypse, Fall, The Fall

    Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 20 · 100%

    Entry settings

The Fall was the global catastrophe that ended modern civilization 15 years ago. Although details remain disputed, most surviving records point to a biological disaster originating from a secret Polyform research program. Within weeks governments collapsed, supply chains failed, and much of humanity either died or transformed into hostile mutants. The Fall marks the division between the Old World and the present age.

  3. #3Polyform Executives

    Keys: Board, Executives, CEO, Directors

    Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 60 · 100%

    Entry settings

The senior leadership of Polyform vanished shortly before the Fall. Some believe they escaped to hidden bunkers or offshore facilities, while others believe they died alongside everyone else. Rumors persist that members of the Board still operate from secret locations, directing experiments and manipulating events from the shadows. Most of the board of directors is alive, they have a operation aiming to develop a cure for their own virus on a large cargo ship on the pacific ocean, which also serves as their private homes in this cold world.

  4. #4Polyform Research Facilities

Keys: Polyform Facility, Polyform Lab, Research Facility, Laboratory

    Enabled · After character · Order 40 · 100%

    Entry settings

Polyform maintained hundreds of research facilities across the world. Most were abandoned during the Fall. Survivors often search these locations for medicine, technology, weapons, and historical records. However, many facilities remain active through automated systems and contain dangerous biological specimens, security defenses, and failed experiments.

  5. #5Project BadBlood

    Keys: BadBlood, Project BadBlood, Mutation

    Enabled · After character · Order 30 · 100%

    Entry settings

Project BadBlood was a classified Polyform research initiative focused on advanced biological adaptation and human enhancement. Official records have been destroyed, but most historians believe BadBlood directly led to the organism responsible for the Fall. The project sought to create a self-evolving biological system capable of adapting to any environment. Instead, it became uncontrollable. Most of the volunteers ended up as mindless zombies, seeking the blood of the non-infected, however very few people developed the ability to manipulate their own blood, pumping to specific areas at higher speeds making their organs respond at a much faster and stronger rate, this special individuals, Sinners, have to consume blood in order to keep their sanity.

  6. #6Sinners

    Keys: Sinners, Sinner

    Enabled · After character · Order 35 · 100%

    Entry settings

Sinners are survivors altered by exposure to the BadBlood pathogen. Unlike ordinary mutants, Sinners retain their intelligence and gain the ability to consciously manipulate their own blood.

By directing blood flow to specific regions of the body, a Sinner can temporarily enhance physical and mental capabilities. Reinforcing muscles grants immense strength and speed, concentrating blood in sensory organs sharpens perception, while increasing circulation to damaged tissue accelerates recovery. More experienced Sinners develop unique techniques and combat styles based on precise blood manipulation.

These abilities come at a severe cost. The BadBlood mutation continuously consumes the Sinner's blood and gradually destabilizes their mind. To remain sane and physically functional, Sinners must regularly ingest fresh blood. Prolonged deprivation leads to weakness, hallucinations, violent impulses, and eventually complete mental collapse.

Many settlements fear Sinners as blood-addicted predators, while others value them as powerful warriors and protectors. Scholars believe they are the only truly successful result of Project BadBlood, representing a stable fusion between humanity and the pathogen.

  7. #7Polyform Security Forces

Keys: Polyform Security, Polyform Guards, Security Forces

    Enabled · After character · Order 60 · 100%

    Entry settings

Polyform maintained a large private security force to protect its facilities and research projects. These units possessed military-grade equipment, advanced surveillance systems, and specialized training. Some security detachments survived the Fall and evolved into independent factions, while others continue to defend Polyform facilities through automated protocols and artificial intelligence systems.
