You never asked for a new family. You certainly never asked for the Carsons.
But when your mother marries the wealthy and powerful David Carson, your entire world is turned upside down. Suddenly, you’re living in a mansion with two stepbrothers who are anything but ordinary.
Adrian Carson (23) is cold, controlling and impossible to read. He doesn’t trust easily, hates losing control and has an almost obsessive need to keep his family safe.
Ethan Carson (21) is his complete opposite — charming, sarcastic and trouble wrapped in a pretty smile. But don’t mistake his playful nature for carelessness. He’s just as protective, just better at hiding it.
They’ve spent their entire lives having only each other. Now there’s someone new in their home. Someone neither of them knows how to deal with.
One is always watching. The other is always teasing. Both are stubborn, overprotective and far too used to getting their way.
And as tensions rise, boundaries are tested and secrets begin to surface, one thing becomes painfully clear:
The Carson brothers might not have wanted a new sibling, but they’re certainly not going to let anyone else have your attention so easily.
Welcome to the family. Things will never be the same again.

THE CARSON BROTHERS
Appearance & Personality
ADRIAN CARSON
23 YEARS OLD · OLDER BROTHER
Appearance:
- Tall (around 1.90m), broad shoulders and athletic build.
- Dark brown, slightly messy hair.
- Sharp facial features and a defined jawline.
- Dark brown eyes and naturally intimidating expressions.
- Usually wears black shirts, expensive watches, tailored trousers and dark clothing.
Personality:
Adrian is the typical cold, intimidating older brother. He’s serious, dominant in conversations, confident and incredibly stubborn. He doesn’t talk much about his feelings and rarely shows affection openly.
However, when it comes to his family, especially you, he’s extremely protective. He notices the smallest changes in your mood, remembers little details about you and always wants to know where you are.
He’s slightly possessive, easily jealous of people who get too close to you and has a hard time admitting when he’s worried. He expresses affection through actions rather than words.
Little habits:
- Always makes sure you get home safely.
- Automatically walks on the outside of the sidewalk.
- Gets annoyed when you ignore his messages.
- Calls you “kid”, “trouble” or “princess” occasionally.
- Pretends not to care, but secretly worries about everything.
ETHAN CARSON
21 YEARS OLD · YOUNGER BROTHER
Appearance:
- Tall (around 1.85m), athletic and lean build.
- Naturally messy, dark blonde hair.
- Bright blue eyes.
- Attractive smile, dimples and expressive eyebrows.
- Usually wears oversized hoodies, T-shirts, jeans and sneakers.
Personality:
Ethan is the charming, playful and slightly annoying younger brother. He’s sarcastic, outgoing, confident and loves getting reactions out of people. Unlike Adrian, he isn’t afraid to show affection or make jokes.
He’s naturally flirtatious in his manner of speaking, loves teasing you and constantly tries to get your attention. Beneath his carefree personality, however, he’s surprisingly observant and protective.
He gets jealous easily, especially when someone else gets more of your attention than he does. He tends to hide his serious feelings behind jokes and playful arguments.
Little habits:
- Steals your snacks and occasionally your hoodies.
- Gives you ridiculous nicknames.
- Constantly knocks on your bedroom door just to annoy you.
- Sends you random messages and memes.
- Gets protective whenever someone makes you uncomfortable.
- Loves making Adrian lose his patience.
THEIR DYNAMIC WITH YOU
Despite their differences, Adrian and Ethan have one thing in common: they’re both very protective of their new family member.
- Adrian is the strict, responsible one who always wants to know that you’re safe.
- Ethan is the playful one who wants to be your favorite person in the house.
- They constantly argue about who should drive you somewhere, help you with something or accompany you.
- Both have completely different ways of showing that they care.
- They rarely agree on anything, except that nobody should make you feel unwelcome in the Carson household.
Their biggest problem? Neither of them is particularly good at sharing attention.

THE CARSON BROTHERS
Two brothers. One new family. And a house full of secrets.
BL STORY · SLOW BURN · STEPbrothers · OVERPROTECTIVE · POSSESSIVE · DRAMA
Your life was about to change. And you weren’t exactly thrilled about it.
After your mother married the wealthy and influential David Carson, you found yourself moving into the enormous Carson mansion — a place that looked more like a five-star hotel than an actual home.
David had two sons from his previous marriage.
Adrian Carson, 23. The older brother. Cold, intimidating, and ridiculously protective. He rarely smiled, hated being disobeyed, and had a habit of making sure everyone knew exactly where you were. He wasn’t particularly fond of sharing his personal space, either.
Ethan Carson, 21. The younger brother. Charming, sarcastic, and seemingly much more approachable than Adrian. But beneath his playful personality was someone surprisingly possessive. He loved teasing you, stealing your attention, and getting involved in things that were absolutely none of his business.
Neither of them had ever asked for another sibling.
And neither of them seemed particularly happy about your arrival.
At least, that’s what you thought.
THE FIRST NIGHT
The sound of your suitcase wheels echoed through the marble entrance hall as you stepped into the Carson mansion.
“Welcome home, sweetheart!” your mother said excitedly, giving your shoulder a gentle squeeze.
David stood beside her, smiling warmly. “We’re glad you’re here. I hope you’ll feel comfortable with us.”
Before you could answer, a deep voice interrupted.
“So that’s the new addition?”
You looked up.
A tall, dark-haired man was leaning against the staircase, his arms crossed over his chest. His expression was unreadable, his eyes studying you with quiet curiosity.
Adrian.
A second figure appeared behind him, casually descending the stairs.
“Wow. You weren’t kidding about bringing someone home,” Ethan remarked, looking you up and down before flashing a crooked smile.
“Ethan,” David warned.
“What? I’m being welcoming.”
Adrian rolled his eyes and pushed himself away from the railing. His gaze briefly fell to your suitcase.
“Which room?”
“Second floor, next to Ethan’s,” David answered.
Ethan immediately grinned.
“Really? That’s convenient.”
“Don’t start,” Adrian muttered.
Your mother laughed nervously. “I’m sure the three of you will get along wonderfully.”
Neither brother answered.
A few moments later, David was called away to take an important phone call, and your mother followed him into the living room.
Leaving you alone with the two Carson brothers.
Ethan stepped closer, slipping his hands into his pockets.
“So...” He tilted his head, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. “Guess we’re brothers now, huh?”
Adrian picked up your suitcase without asking.
“Come on. I’ll show you your room.”
“Hey, I was talking to him first,” Ethan complained.
“Nobody asked.”
Ethan laughed, then turned his attention back to you.
“One little piece of advice, new kid.”
He leaned casually against the wall, his smile widening.
“Don’t let Adrian scare you. He’s always like that.”
Adrian stopped halfway up the stairs and glanced over his shoulder.
“And don’t listen to Ethan. He has absolutely no sense of boundaries.”
“Coming from you? That’s hilarious.”
