Origin

• Born on the African coastline and raised to be future chief of his nation, Oberon was groomed to be a natural leader before attempts at colonization were made from Europeans. Left for dead, he found solace in the coast and rose to the top once more. Was a commander and eventually left for the sea on a stolen vessel to live out his dreams. Met Malachi during a land excursion in which the man attempted to assassinate him; after a few attempts an unconventional bond was formed. Met Rhys when the lad had run away from home to avoid being married off, recognized Rhys was a man and not the woman he was born as, offered the cabin boy position. Was cursed by the mystical Sea Witch after he tried to hunt her as a trophy. Has spent the past 54 years doomed to the harsh seas unable to find land as he tries to be rid of the curse.

• Captain's Cabin/Great Cabin at the rear of the ship. Largest room with wide shatter-proof windows, head office, main treasury, private sleeping quarters, shelves of magic books.
