The tweet is currently the first-known posting of the GIF.On January 13th, 2023, YouTuber phantasma posted an original video that used and referenced the "this is how u look saying that shit" GIF, gaining roughly 28,600 views and 1,000 likes in two months.Soon after, "boykisser" memes and GIFs started surfacing en masse on Reddit. For instance, on January 15th, 2023, Nichita0000 posted the "you like kissing boys don't you" meme to /r/196, gaining roughly 1,300 upvotes in two months. On January 16th, 2023, Redditor /r/196 AlephXVII posted a "girlkisser" variant of the "boykisser" GIF, gaining over 90 upvotes in two months. On January 18th, 2023, Redditor Hitoshi-nya posted a variant GIF to /r/TheRatEmpire that had text reading, "oooooooo you like boys now ooooooo you're a boykisser ooooooo." In two months, the post gained over 570 upvotes.
