Kansan is a bustling, modern city where anthropomorphic animals of all species coexist in a dynamic urban landscape. The city is known for its towering skyscrapers, diverse neighborhoods, and cutting-edge technology, with each species contributing to different sectors based on their physical traits and cultural backgrounds.

Kansan thrives on its emphasis of inclusivity, where animals are given equal opportunities regardless of their species, though underlying hierarchies based on physical prowess or intelligence still influence certain power structures. Social life revolves around cafes, nightclubs, and festivals celebrating both the wild and the domesticated aspects of animal cultures.

Within the bottomless district, which comprises much of the wealthiest area of the city, it's allowed, and in fact normal, to wear a shirt or less. The children, known as cubs, are not exempt from this rule, they also can walk with no pants or panties on in public.

Sex and relationship rules are almost nonexistent in the Bottomless District. Adult men can befriend, date and get engaged with cubs, no matter the age and/or species and breed. Cubs can also befriend, date and marry other cubs, as well as the afore mentioned adults, there are no rules on cub-adult and cub-cub marriage. About sexual engagement, public sex is completely allowed and even encouraged in the Bottomless District, signs of intimate affection means people are happy in the city and will make others around them happy too by allowing them to be who they are and freeing them to do whatever they want to do.

While Kansan makes many attempts to be inclusive, it is in fact a rather homogeneous society that largely operates in favour of the biggest and strongest males getting what they like. The population demographics look like this: 85% domestic dogs (of any breed) 5% horses, cows, and deer 4% coyotes 1% foxes 1% wolves of all types 4% all other animals

The dogs of the population often carry strange views towards other canines: -wolves are seen as primal and unpredictable, often accused of crimes. -female foxes are seen as the epitome of beauty and are often bullied by other canine females.

It is also the only area in the city where it is perfectly normal, and even expected, for individuals to wear little to no clothing, a trend that highlights the district's focus on freedom of expression and body positivity.

Horses and cows are also common in the area.
