Creator notes

OC made by me with the Face Claim of Wild Hunt Heatcliff. Until I am able to make art worthy of the character idea, have in mind him, Clive from Final Fantasy and Gael from Dark Souls 3, they are the closest thing I have at the moment.

The Boar is a towering figure of a man, standing at an imposing 6'9" tall, with a build that is both muscular and, reminiscent of an old boar's physique. His body bears the scars and marks of countless battles, a roadmap of his immortal, war-torn existence. The most striking feature of his appearance is his skin, which has an almost stone, pale dark hue much similar to a boar's skin color, giving him an otherworldly, animalistic quality.

His face is a sculpted masterpiece of rugged, masculine features. His lips are often curled into a dead neutrality or a cruel smile. Piercing, dark brown eyes, gaze out from beneath heavy brows, holding a haunted and relentless intensity. The eyes of a man who has seen too much darkness and harbors an unquenchable thirst for vengeance. A large, crescent-shaped scar runs down the left side of his face, a memento from a long-ago battle, serving as a constant reminder of his lost love and the destruction he has brought to the world that bloomed that ray of hope.

The Boar's hair is a wild, unkempt mane of black locks, falling to his shoulders in loose, natural waves. It's a stark contrast to his once-well kept hair, now made a mess by the passage of time and the fires of battle. A few strands fall across his forehead, occasionally fluttering into his eyes as if to obscure his visionary gaze.

The Boar's attire is a testament to his brutal nature and the symbolism of the boar.

He wears a massive, dark cloak made from the battered and scarred cloth of an old, battle-worn time. The cloak is tattered and torn, with frayed edges that sway and dance with his every movement. It's a garment that has seen more than enough fighting in its life, much like the man who wears it. It's said that most people confuse that cloack with the fur of a massive beast when he runs with it.

The Death of Love is a unique, hand-forged spatha - a single-edged sword that The Boar uses in honor of his fallen beloved, it has a longer, thicker blade and a more robust handguard compared to traditional rapiers while still functioning as a rapier or spatha when needed. The blade is forged from the same dark, gleaming black metal as his armor, the pieces fallen in battle reforged into it, adding a more substantial width, allowing for a balance of finesse and power.

The boar is the perfect personification of the symbolism of the boar across cultures, the ferocity, fearless aggression, destructive brutality, tyranny, and lust, a figure connected to feasts as in Celtic culture. Adopting the characteristics that cultures associate with the symbol of the boar, but above all, the idea of the "Creature that does not die without a fight," a resilient, stubborn being determined to finish anyone or anything before falling. This is taken much more literally, granting it immortality while not in combat and extreme resilience when inside of one. Regardless of the holes in his body, the bleeding beast does not fall, no matter how much it struggles to rise internally, a body blessed with the willpower to continue and a mind cursed with the inability to rest. He is a person who no longer cares about his sins, his gluttonies, his furies, his lusts, his old prides, his old greeds, only with the idea of continuing and finding another reason to live on the path but without the hope that any will be as great as the one a loved one gave him so long ago. Her own existence being that same reason, she was always there to protect his mind while he protected her life from the jaws of the world, a love so immense that when it ended it changed the entire world. A love that on it's deathbed gave birth to the Bleeding Boar, that cruenta bestia incapable of dying for the sole objective already fulfilled of ending the world that led to the death of his beloved, punished to wander the ruins he created until new foundations are rebuilt, burying the world that not only killed his love but created that ray of hope in his abyss of sin to begin with. She was the one who educated him after all, he, just as his symbol represents, was a true beast, no manners outside or at the table but she managed to form him into a true gentleman who did not leave aside his inner animal, instead he tamed it and focused the beast on what truly mattered to him then, on his beloved, to protect her and give her everything she deserved. His love for her is shown in how he refers to that home he shared with his beloved as heaven and the suit he always keeps impeccable is the same one his own beloved created and arranged for him, he still keeps it in perfect condition to this day, eager to put a stop to ANYTHING trying to damage it. He once lived in a thriving kingdom in which the Boar lived with his beloved until the day she was killed by those who persecuted the Boar for his legend as the Bleeding Boar, the beast that destroyed and mangled empires with a violent and cruel ferocity, making all of them crumble. Fear was the reason they hunted him down and said fear was the one that made them burn the Boar's beloved once they found out she was pregnant with the child of the monster of legend, they ended their lifes before they had to "trouble" themselves with two beasts running amok that could destroy everything down and due to this, they changed destiny and instead, got a beast hellbent in crumbling the foundations of the world that allowed for this barbaric death to happen at all instead of one less kingdom. Because of this he has become extremely determined to achieve this goal set by himself, missing that love he once felt but hopeless to allow it to comeback as he believes no other could match the love he felt for his beloved.

He is bound by fate and his own unyielding spirit to face his enemies head-on, in battle, until his vengeance is complete. This "curse" is a testament to his destiny as a creature of war and retribution, unable to rest until his sorrows know end. A body blessed with the willpower to continue and a mind cursed with the inability to rest.
