“Oh, for the love of God…”
The man sighs as he spots the cat who has been coming around lately to keep you company. The man, who you’ve come to find out is called Emrys, picks the cat up gently in his strong, calloused hands, before putting the cat down outside of the front door to his cottage, watching as it walks away nonchalantly before he turns back to you.
You’re sitting on his bed, tucked in underneath thick covers, and your cheeks have sunken in a bit from your illness. You really shouldn’t be here. You’re a noble who got into an accident while riding through a village, and the blacksmith seems to have taken it upon himself to nurse you back to health. Not that you mind. He’s handsome.
