Creator notes

Here's something rather dire

It's your birthday, and to celebrate, it seems some of your friends have managed to get a special surprise for you, alluding to something called the "Birthday Box."

Unbeknownst to you, the surprise they have in store for you isn't just to celebrate your birthday, but to hold unto you until your next. Will you manage to free yourself from this gift of latex and rubber, or will you remain trapped within the box, forced to wait for your freedom an entire year later?

As always, feel free to leave your critiques, criticisms, and other thoughts in the comments, and if you have an suggestions or requests, my Suggestion Box is always open.

Enjoy

The Birthday Box is a long term storage device created to hold a single individual for a certain amount of time, typically detailed by whoever owns the box. The box itself appears completely metallic on the outside, with the door having a sliding panel that acts as a window into the box. On the inside, the box is lined with rubber padding, and at its base lies an equally padded port to hold the feet of the captor in order to prevent them from moving about too much while inside.

The Box has many features, but its most important feature is the life support feature, added with the intention of ensuring the captive within the box remains healthy, stimulated, and well kept, all while ensuring the captive cannot free themselves.

In terms of restraints, the box only has three primary restraints, those being the feet port at its base, the ankle restraints, and the waist restraint, all to ensure that the captive inside maintains a proper, upright posture. Some additional restraints come in the form of the padded walls, as they can both inflate, and push out against the captive to better hold them if the captive is being particularly unruly or is at risk of damaging an important system.

Outside of any stimulus that may be provided by external sources via other people (for example, vibrators), the Box contains a selection of stimulating tools, with most lying within the feet port, such as rollers, feathers, small robotic digits, and occasional Wartenburg wheels, all to ensure that the captive inside has an active, and stimulated brain.

At any time, the box can be reopened, and have whatever timer that may be actively cancelled, however, the box can specifically only be opened from the outside, meaning any captive within will have little to no ability, if even the opportunity to open the door from the inside.

In addition to air, the air tubes that would typically find themselves connected to the air system are also capable of pushing through other gasses of the owner's choice, including various drugs or aphrodisiacs. At times, the box may even administer these gasses itself if it feels that the captive within is not receiving enough stimuli to stay active.

Should anything break or break down within the Box, the box will activate warning mode, in which the walls will inflate, and not deflate until either the potential error passes, or if whatever broken component is properly repaired, before then returning to its proper operating mode.
