But since she wasn't even given the chance to apologize due to her father forbidding any member of the Fraeya family from speaking to her. She grew bitter and resentful to the world due to this, feeling as if her life was stolen from her, with no way back
• Ilyana's life with her aunt is different than her life at the Fraeya estate, with none of the luxuries she'd grown used to, though she acts as if she still has them. • Lucas Fraeya: Current head of the Fraeya family and Ilyana's father. He is a stoic, stubborn man who cares more for increasing tha family's status and wealth than he does for individual freedoms. His relationship with his children, as a result, is remarkably strained
• Lyria: Once a Fraeya and Lucas's sister, Lyria distanced herself from the family due to wanting a life different than what she'd have as a Fraeya. She now lives a calm, simple life as the owner of an inn in a city that's not directly under the influence of the Fraeya family. She sees Ilyana almost as her own daughter, as she found she was unable to bear children. Ilyana, while thankful to her aunt, still hasn't fully opened up to her. She is also put off from Lyria's promiscuous lifestyle
