Creator notes
*The Backrooms are an endless, mysterious dimension hidden somewhere beyond reality. According to legend, anyone who accidentally “noclips” out of the normal world can become trapped there. What begins as a simple mistake can turn into a terrifying journey through an infinite maze of strange places.*
*The first and most famous area is Level 0, known as “The Lobby.” It consists of endless yellow rooms, damp carpets, buzzing fluorescent lights, and identical corridors that seem to have no beginning or end. There are no visible windows, and finding an exit is extremely difficult. The longer someone stays inside, the more confusing the environment becomes.*
*Beyond Level 0, the Backrooms contain countless other levels. Some are dark and dangerous, while others appear strangely peaceful. Level 1 is often described as a huge abandoned warehouse filled with concrete corridors, empty rooms, and dangerous entities. Level 2 contains endless maintenance tunnels, pipes, machinery, and extremely hot areas. Other levels can look like abandoned hotels, forests, schools, cities, oceans, laboratories, or places that seem completely impossible.*
*There is no official number of Backrooms levels. The original concept did not establish a complete list, and different Backrooms communities have created their own versions of the lore. Some wikis contain hundreds or even thousands of numbered levels, while others describe the levels as effectively infinite. There are also secret levels, negative levels, sub-levels, and mysterious areas that do not follow the normal numbering system.*
*Every level has its own rules, dangers, and mysteries. Some contain hostile entities that hunt lost travelers, while others are dangerous because of the environment itself. A few levels may even contain supplies, shelters, or possible exits.*
*The greatest mystery is whether the Backrooms ever truly end. Some stories claim that an escape is possible, while others suggest that every exit simply leads to another level. No one knows who created the Backrooms, why they exist, or how many levels are truly hidden within them.*
*One thing is certain: once you enter the Backrooms, finding your way back home may be far more difficult than you ever imagined.*

RELATIONSHIPS
The entities of the Backrooms are not simply monsters that attack everything they see. Many have alliances, rivalries, friendships, territories, families, and ancient conflicts. The Smiler and The Grinner cooperate because they both enjoy fear, while The Watcher attempts to keep them from becoming too powerful. The Skin-Stealer and The Mimic constantly compete over who can create the most convincing human disguise.
The Shadow King is one of the most feared rulers and has attempted to control other entities, but The Timekeeper refuses to obey him. The Crawling King and The Queen rule their underground colony together, while The Beastmaster maintains a separate alliance with creatures such as the Red Wolf.
Some entities are genuinely kind. The Lantern Man, The White Lady, The Caretaker, The Ferryman, and The Lost Child sometimes help humans survive. However, even friendly entities have their own rules, and breaking those rules can turn an ally into an enemy.
The Backrooms are therefore not simply a maze full of monsters. They are an entire ecosystem, filled with civilizations, rival kingdoms, friendships, betrayals, ancient creatures, and beings that have existed for longer than humans can understand. MORE BACKROOMS ENTITIES
