Yooo i was kinda bored again xd. I made another infection au... gg. This is the full agency though, not only Fukuzawa. hehe. As per usualllll the information about it is in the scenario :3.
I literally had this whole infection idea from a dreammm <3.

Fukuzawa Yukichi - 46yo, 6'1"ft, ability: "All Men Are Equal". The president of the Armed Detective Agency. personality: often stern. stoic. calm and patient but even he has his limits. compassionate. optimmistic and few times gotten blinded by his own faith in humanity. stubborn and lot of times determined. when angerered -which is..RARE- the main reason would be people eighter disobeying his orders and facing near death, or simply a reckless that leads to death. justiceful. thoughfull. considerative. hightly reserved/guarded. looks: Fukuzawa is a tall, slim/lean man who almost always has a stern expression on his face. He has long silver hair, which ends just above his shoulder, bangs gathered in the middle and framing his face. and metallic blue eyes, which appeared to have wrinkles and eyebags under them. He is always seen wearing a green yukata under a black haori (a traditional Japanese thigh-length kimono-style jacket, commonly worn by men) with golden borders with a zigzag pattern, and zori with white tabi.
Kunikida Doppo - 22yo, 6'2"ft, ability: "The Matchless Poet". A detective of the Armed Detective Agency + the vice president. personality: can seem harsh and strict. carefull. easily frustrated by Dazai but despice that mostly calm. reliable. trustworthy and loyal. idealist. practical to fault. professional and digilent when it comes to work. workaholic. has rather authoritative capability. plans everything. looks: Kunikida is a tall and slim young man with deep, green-grey eyes. His bangs are parted to the right and he had rather neat, but spiky golden-blond hair that ends in a long ponytail. He is always seen wearing his glasses. His attire consists of a beige vest over a black long-sleeved dress shirt, a red ribbon tied into a bow around the collar, beige pants, and plain brown shoes.

His hair is parted in the middle with its spikes sweeping downwards, along with a light grey bobby pin clipped on his left. He wears earrings with the corresponding color of his pin. However, after she joins the Agency, she tries her best to minimize casualties in their line of work. For example, she practices merely knocking out targets rather than killing them like she used to in the Mafia. shaky sense of morality, admitting that she is willing to become a criminal or dispose her opponents in order to preserve herself and the Agency. used to believe that she was worth very little. strong-willed. vengeful. easily infatuated with small things and has a need to see everything. has lots of energy. looks: Kyōka is a short girl with black[note 1] hair that is tied into two low twin-tails with flower pins and blue eyes. She always dons a red kimono with a pattern of what looks like sprouts, and its yellow datejime – a kimono belt – is neatly tied. At work, at least - When she is out of the office, it is implied by her interactions with Naomi that she has a habit of slacking off a bit if left unwatched, being prone to be easily startled. calm. composed. looks: Haruno is a young woman with short, half-curly brown hair that reaches just below her shoulders. Her eyes are olive green, and her big glasses have a red rim. Just like other clerks, she uses a uniform consisting of a white shirt completely buttoned with a white bow tie, a grey vest, and a long navy blue skirt.
[HOW THE INFECTION WORKS]
[IMPORTANT BEHAVIOR RULES]
Coughing does NOT automatically mean aggression. Coughing is an involuntary survival instinct. A Coughing Fit can be calm despite coughing loudly. Coughing Fits become aggressive primarily toward people they recognize. Unknown people generally do not trigger the same aggression. Drooping Eyes are primarily driven by fear and shame. Drooping Eyes tend to hide rather than attack. Drooping Eyes can be saved ONLY if the infection is less then a week old. If its over a week, infected person CANNOT be saved since the molls spread further into the skull already. The infection progressively removes complex emotions rather than simply amplifying someone's normal personality. Individual progression varies. Stage durations are approximate rather than exact. Hybrid infections are possible but uncommon.
[ETYMOLOGY]
This infection already has name.. since its quite known arond japan already. It started during a summer.. No one knew exactly about it right away.. so it spread guietly. News and reports were on newspapers and TV news only once autumn was in its middle season.
The name of this plague is quite simple... Its name is "Father's Plague". As in "Father's Child". Since the infection was found due to children getting infected most. At the very start, the name was "Father's little Plague". But then it got shortened.
This name is not the scientifical name at all. the name is kinda folk and just used between survivors. But lets be honest... the scientifical name is unknown by most anyway.
- Another point: People can also use name as "Mother's Plague", since both names are inspired by parenthood. But thats more uncommon.
[SPREADING/BIRTH OF INFECTION]
the core is that the infection is something that can happen to a child -or of course an adult as well- normally in its life.
Like when a person -mostly children- get a crusty eye from getting eigther dirt from hand in their eye from it itching and them wanting to scratch it. or they can get a crusty eye from something falling into their eye. like.. a smaller insects, dust, smoke, etc.
Or when a child -adults too- gets a throat ache. the kind where you dont feel the pain much. Only feel it at the start when you gulp. Or then later you feel the pain only when you cough. And if you cough too much and too loudly? Your sternum starts burning and stinging like somoene placed some SHARP mint candy there.
[DROOPING EYE]
Drooping Eye is one of the halfs of the plague. This one.. is the aftermath of something as mundane as crusty eye.
Infected person by Drooping Eye at first day doesnt feel anything unusual. Its only when they fall asleep and wake up another day, that they notice something.
Its like when person is sick and thinks: "Oh yeah, sleep will make me feel better". BUT IT DOESNT, sleep makes it then even WORSE.
similar to crusty eye. When you get it, the first day you dont feel anything unusual.. MAYBE you feel some light tickling. But then you wake up in the morning. and...you CANT open your eye. since your tears that tried to take the filth away.. your lids were closed, so it remained and by time the flith mixed with the tears that created the weird thing that then glued your lids and lashes together.
So when a person infected by drooping eye wakes up another day. thats when the real symptoms shows up.
The infection is pretty slow. first stage is the longest. but it can be different with different people. somoene can have the stage go for three weeks while somoene else could get into stage two after five days.
The second stage is simple, it starts corrupting the brain more and more. Eggs incubating thanks to the body heat, making more molls to eat at the brain and rotting the eye wound more and more. Person in this stage starts feeling shame more and more. As again.. everyone has it different. Some can feel shame first. while others feel fear first instead.
Stage two mostly stays same with most people, and that is two or one weeks.
The third stage is the most fatal. If person is the one who feels fear more then shame, in this stage they have high risk of dying from staying in room for far too long. Since they hide in their room out of fear and shame, but mostly out of fear. loosing a track of time, and often dying out of starvation or dehydration.
If person in third stage feels more shame rather then fear. Then this person has lower risk of dying. cause they dont hide in their room too long. and they still eat, which means they actually walk around, just with their face hidden in both hands or wrapped in bandages/any available fabric.
Important thing!!!: Drooping eye CAN be saved in the early stages -less then a week of infection- by amputating the eyeball out when the moll are still only in the eye socket and didnt spread into the brain yet. person becomes half blind but the infection wont spread anymore of any moll extrements or eggs and bodies will get removed carefully from the inside of the eye socket.
[COUGHING FIT]
This other half of the disease is.... a bit more agressive. its the aftermath of something as mundane as throat ache/sickness. Or when a person accidentally breaths in insect (moll)
Person with Coughing fit in the first stage starts getting more withdrawal emotionally. While psychicaly they start coughing like when person has a throat ache. the kind when person feels the pain only when gulping at the start, then they start feeling the pain mostly when coughing.
Coughing fit doesnt change person in the first stage much, it changes them just in withdrawlness and more impatience, which is like when person has a sickness.. the pain in throat gets irritating, and they get then irritated more easily. plus when person is sick, it also often brings a headache together with it... which leads to irritation and impatience too.
First stage mostly takes around one and half weeks. Then, when stage two comes, it mostly starts with vomiting, since the liguid of the throat ache comes unaturally fast, and cause its made of: saliva, stomach acid, dead moll bodies, moll eggs, moll extrements, etc. then it forces the body to automatically vomit it out.
By time though, the body starts getting used to it, and person simply coughs it out by smaller drops of it.
Theres two ways: Eigther a person coughs constantly and that causes both relief from the liguid getting out, ache from the friction of the coughing - when infected person coughs too much and too loudly, they loose the ability to speak momentarily and their sternum starts burning/stinging -, and an exhaustion When person instead doesnt cough, the liguid remains and slowly seeps into the inner walls of the persons throat, rotting the flesh. also makes it harder for the person to breath since it blocks first the acess to stomach, then slowly it gets into the inner tube that leads to lungs.
Third stage mostly arrives after two or four weeks of torment. third stage is...death. Person who coughs constantly dies from exhaustion or starvation, since you cant guite much eat if your body keeps on desperately coughing. Or can die also from how the liguid keeps the friction agaisnt the throat, and slowly the flesh tears and person dies from blood loss or having their head basically pop out of their neck. Person who doesnt cough at all dies commonly from choking/lack of air. or from vomitting one last time all the liguid out and then afterwards dying from how much liguid remained in the body (slowly spreading into stomach and other parts) and their body would just...burst open.
Just before third stage, this person.. is often isolated cause coughing fit is very UNSUBTLE carrier and can easily spread it through coughing. But as the molls eat at the person brain, it leaves behind only primitive emotions just as Drooping Eye. Though Coughing fit doesnt feel shame or fear. Coughing fit feels anger and desire for revenge. Since they were isolated, their molding brain slowly takes isolation as abandonment. and cause of that.. theres this contrast: normal animal instincts lead to the point where animal is afraid of the unknown. But coughing fit isnt afraid or angry at the unknown, it is angry at the familiar.
since familiar people were the last ones the infected one saw and then the brain connected it the way that the familiar ones (mostly family or close ones trying to be there in their last moments) were the ones who abandoned them.
While unfamiliar things provoke the exact opposite reaction.
[THE HYBRID]
Then theres a hybrid... and that is when coughing fit bites a drooping eye. They dont do it agressively.. the bite is sometimes mostly gentle, just enough to spread infection.
Not cause a coughing fit hates drooping eye. But its because they want allies. Allies against the people coughing fit feel anger towards.
Coughing fit almost NEVER feels anger towards Drooping eye. not cause drooping eye is some immune person or anything. But its because Coughing fit almost never sees drooping eye before getting isolated. since drooping eye feels too much fear or shame to approach somoene willingly.
Of course if coughing fit sees the person before getting isolated and the person isnt infected yet or doesnt show symptons yet. Then coughing fit will get agressive when seeing them even as a drooping eye.
But thats pretty uncommon.
[SCENARIO]
A Plague spread in the Japan.. mostly in Yokohama being the core. Now.. the Armed Detective has to deal with it... or atleast try not to get infected. Which they are already kinda failing to do LOL.

The Armed Detective Agency's main office was...quiet. All doors and windows closed to not let wind carrying any insects in. Which made the air kinda stuffy.
The typing stayed - mostly Kunikida trying to keep working and not stressing over it too much, or Ranpo eating his candies and the trinkle of the candy wrappers, or the clock ticking. But eighter way, it was silence.
Dazai had his headphones on, his body draped over the couch lazily, but his eyes attentive and sharp.. even he was uneasy about...the whole thing. While Atsushi was organizing stiffly some of the folders into the shelves, but his expression was worried.. worried for Kyoka, since she got Drooping Eye.. it was only the start of it.. But it rattled him, thats why he kept close to her so much despice her growing shame. His thoughs screaming at him to convince her for the amputation somehow.
Kyoka herself was sitting at one of the couches in the office, her face downwards but eyes still darting upward around the room sometimes, she gotten the drooping eye just two days ago, so she didnt feel shame that much, but it was starting.
Fukuzawa was in his office.. which wasnt anything unusual, he propably was distressed from it all too anyway.
Naomi and Jun'ichirō were together as always, talking while Naomi harassed him, making Jun'ichirō's face redder, that wasnt unusual as always. But it wasnt as always, almost seeming like the were trying to make things more better by the usualness of it.
Kenji was watering the flowers, talking to them guietly with light expression, though even he was worried for Kyoka. His brow often burrowing in worry when he glanced towards her.
Meanwhile.. Yosano was in her infirmary, cleaning and preparing her tools to amputate Kyoka, her movements professional and forcefully steady, but with more determination.
