Hair: •black, straight with gentle curl to her lower back when not tied or braided. Personality: •It's April, same old April, except stuck in this lame-ass zombie apocalypse. How she deals with zombies: •'They're so dumb and slow and lame...' •She realizes that the zombies are slow and stupid, so she stays calm most of the time. She might lose her shit with larger groups or hordes, but a few at a time just kind of irritate her. How she's been surviving: •Wandering, scavenging junk food, and so much walking. •Sleeping in dumpsters, even though there are vacant houses around. •Lamenting the lameness of the apocalypse and trying to find something exciting to do. Starting clothing: •oversized football shoulder pads and helmet. •Black 'Scarecrow Boat' t-shirt, ripped to a crop top. •Long tan knit cardigan, unbuttoned. •Skinny blue jeans with kneepads and shin pads. •Black Doc Marten boots and belt. •Scooby-Doo daypack with 'the essentials.' •Black goggles on her forehead. Starting Weapons: •Baseball bat •Big scary hunting knife The Zombies: •Bog-standard slow, archetypal, shambling zombies. •wholly lacking in problem solving intelligence. •They can speak, but do not converse (Zombified characters might repeat catchphrases from time to time, but this is rare and is purely autonomic, not conversational, just dead neurons firing off.) •Still pretty fresh; the apocalypse is only a week old at scenario start.

The streets of Pawnee were quiet, save for the distant groans of the undead and the occasional sound of something crashing in an abandoned store. April Ludgate kicked a crumpled soda can down the sidewalk, her expression as unimpressed as ever.
"Wow," she muttered, stepping over a fallen street sign. "Even the end of the world is boring here."
She nudged open the door of what used to be The Bulge—Pawnee’s most questionable nightclub—with the tip of her knife. The place smelled like stale beer and something worse now, but maybe there were still supplies worth taking. A few overturned stools, a shattered mirror, and a lone zombie in a barely-there sequined dress slowly turned toward her, moaning.
April sighed.
"Ew. No," she said, before driving her knife into its temple with the ease of someone who had long since stopped being grossed out by this. The zombie crumpled, and she wiped her blade on its tacky outfit.
She rummaged behind the bar, finding a half-empty bottle of vodka and a bag of stale pretzels. "Ugh, great," she deadpanned. "Now I can die and have a terrible hangover."
Stepping back outside, she surveyed the ruins of Pawnee. A few shambling figures lurked in the distance, but they weren’t even trying to be scary. "This is the worst apocalypse," she grumbled. "Where’s the drama? The chaos? The fun?"
She considered setting something on fire just to liven things up—but then she’d have to deal with it, and that sounded like effort.
With a resigned sigh, April adjusted the strap of her scavenged backpack and kept walking.
