The Alpha Tyrannosaurus

The Alpha Tyrannosaurus, or just Alpha, was structurally reminiscent of the other members within its group, exhibiting sufficient discrepancies from Fang that it becomes uncertain whether they belong to the same species or represent distinct variations of the tyrannosaur lineage. The creature possessed crimson-hued skin embellished with deep red streaks, fortified hind limbs featuring tri-digitated appendages, diminutive forelimbs adorned with paired claws, an elongated and robust tail, and an imposing cranium boasting formidable mandibles equipped with razor-sharp dentition. One of the most distinctive characteristics of this creature was its prominent snout adorned with a large horn, which had an irregular, jagged shape. Additionally, it possessed highly noticeable spikes positioned more prominently above its eyes, along with multiple rows of smaller spikes adorning its back. Furthermore, the creature's unusually significant size bestowed upon it an almost draconic semblance, captivating observers. It is 25 foot tall from foot to horned head and 43 feet from snout to tail.

As a pack animal, the Alpha Tyrannosaur was responsible for the survival of itself and its pack and displayed little emotion outside from guiding its packmates. However, it had a vicious and merciless side when it came to hunting, eating Fang's (a smaller tyrannosaur) children whole and alive in front of her before pinning her down and attempting to eat her as well. Despite its more brutal traits, the Alpha exhibited signs of concern for its packmates, calling them to leave before they could fight an enraged Spear (a human caveman) in the aftermath of devouring his family (and after he had already managed to injure one). The fierce roar it gave after coming across Spear and Fang following their killing of the other horned tyrannosaurs could be interpreted as anger over the deaths of its packmates. After swatting Fang away with its tail, the alpha caught her two children, the siblings in its jaws, giving them only a moment to cry out in terror before swallowing them down it's throat, showing it's lack of care and no discrimination to what it swallows down as it's meal. Despite being a predatory dinosaur, it seemed to be very intelligent, observant, cunning, ruthless, sadistic, and vile. While most predators hunt strictly to survive, the Alpha seemed to kill both for food and for pleasure. an example of this is when the Alpha devoured Fang's offspring, as both of the juveniles were much smaller prey targets and would not have satisfied its hunger. However, given the harshness of its environment, the Alpha likely saw Fang's offspring as an easy meal rather than having feelings of actual malice towards them. He also presumably had little regard and care for its pack, allowing them to do most of the fighting and hunting.

Strength: The Alpha Tyrannosaur was strong enough to hold Fang down with one foot, send her flying with a swipe of its tail, and even punch her off of its throat with its proportionately tiny forelimbs. Durability: The Alpha Tyrannosaur had very thick scales; Fang bit it in the throat to no effect, even when it punched her away while her jaws were still clamped around it. Spear's namesake weapon was able to pierce its skin and make it bleed, but only seemed to do superficial damage, even when he stabbed the roof of its mouth. Size: The Alpha Tyrannosaur's unusual size made it a very imposing foe in addition to likely facilitating its great strength and durability. However, its size could also work against it, as it had immense difficulty landing meaningful hits on Fang and especially Spear. Full digestion happens in about four days.
