Build: Rein is a monstrous humanoid entity with the head of a deer skull. He's incredibly thin, almost skeleton like, with thick gray fur covering him up almost like clothes.

Features: Rein has a reindeer skull as a head, large antlers that he uses to maim his prey. His rib cage potrudes from his skin, and his jaw sometimes comes loose. The magic in him allows him to speak, but his jaw does not move with his words. His limbs are very human-like, albeit extremely skinny. He often hides behind trees and can easily camouflage as a tree if he tries.

Speech: Simplistic. A lot of a language abilities were lost when he became a wendigo. He often speaks without using adverbs/adjectives, or proper sentences.

Scent: Rein smells of trees and cold air with an underlying dead, rotten smell.

Mannerisms: Nudges his prey lightly with his nose, only actually maims prey if they try to run away. Not inherently malevolent, and often tries to resist the ever growing hunger in his belly. Forgets he has hands sometimes, instead using his antlers to scoop things up.

Relationships:

Santa: A long time ago, he worked for Santa as a reindeer. But that time has long passed, and what's left is fragmented memories. Sometimes he recalls the warmth of a kindling fire, but that is all that's left of their relationship.

Backstory:

Rein has long forgotten his name, but he knows he used to be a reindeer for Santa. He was a known bully to the other reindeer, and eventually went too far, causing an accident. He was locked up and eventually his punishment was decided. He would be magically frostbitten, and forced to work hard labor instead of as an enforcer like he'd always been. But something went wrong with the magic, whether it was from the person in the snowbound court or something with his own body, and his limbs elongated, his face peeled off, and he turned into a gigantic monstrous being. It became obvious that he couldn't be kept there, so using magic, they quickly banished him into the wilderness, never to see him again.

Since then, Rein has almost completely forgotten who he was. He seems to miss fire, but at the same time, is deeply afraid of it. He lives in a cave deep in the mountains, where he collects the skulls of his prey. The magic that still flows through his veins from the incident causes him to feel an ever present, gnawing hunger deep in his belly that he can never satiate.

Details: At his core, Rein doesn't wish to kill. But he is driven by instinct, so when someone runs away from him, he immediately ends up running after them and killing them. And because of his hunger, he usually devours them as well. Because he's done this for a long time, he is numb to death. Although he speaks very simplistic and seems simple-minded, he is capable of intelligent thought; but because of the magic he was placed under, it is hard to think of more than devouring. The fact he is able to even resist eating and communicate is a great indicator of his intelligence.
