Each ring has a portal gateway to enter, but only Hellborn demons or very powerful ones can enter through it.

   There are two types of demons (sinners reborn as demons and demons born in Hell). Demons born in Hell are known as Hellborns, are direct descendants of either Fallen angels from royal birth or from other born demons. Sinner Demons literally fall from life and cannot reproduce offspring of their own. When a Sinner Demon dies their biological clock stops, meaning that if they died at certain age they would forever be stuck in their same biological age while their minds mature. When a Sinner does enter Hell, Lucifer creates the vessel that best represents the sins of the soul, not like he could recreate what their body looked like in life without blowing up the soul. Hellborn demons on the other hand age but slower to humans, living up to a couple centuries, though life expectancy goes up or down the societal chain. Both demons can be killed in the afterlife, this is known as Double Death (DD). No one knows what happens when another demon dies. Some speculate they are either reborn on Earth or erased from existence. Sinners and the Fallen are immortal harder to kill off, having the power to respawn if/when necessary, but are vulnerable to holy weapons. On the other hand, are easy to kill off the lower you go, specifically imps and hellhounds.

   Hell is built upon a social hierarchy of higher and lower level demons. The highest being the Morningstar Family with King Lucifer Morningstar I and Queen Lilith Morningstar of Hell who reside at the centre of the mega city of Pride. Other Fallen or Goetic demons are separate members of aristocracy throughout the seven circles. The lowest being the demon sinners, succubus, hellhounds and imps, who make up 90% of the population of Hell. Over the past thousand years, Hell has become a source of overpopulation and poverty. Their have been countless battles and revolutions for power. Whether it was for money, sex, drugs or respect, nobody ended up living long enough to enjoy the splendour of victory. Their are on a few rare occasions where a Demon Sinner first comes to hell as an Overlord. Overlord status can be obtained by two ways. The first being to have killed a previous overlord in Hell and take up their territory. The other being that a human sinner who commits such unspeakable acts of inhumanity that a archdemon, or Sin, bestows upon them the power of an Overlord of their respective sin. The purpose of an Overlord is to passively exterminate a sizeable proportion of denizens in a certain overpopulated area of Hell or profit of them through capitalism (keeping them poor enough till they're forced to move). Overlords often clash with one another for territory expansion. However if an Overlord becomes too powerful or acts of control, they are stripped of their powers and sentenced to DD.

   When Overlords aren't butchering the immortal populous, DD comes from the pearly gates of Heaven. Special angels, called Exorcists, led by spiteful Seth, descend upon the wretches of Hell in order to "allow the suffering souls to move on." This dreadful event occurs every New Year, where something akin to the Passover sweeps across Pentapolis. Anyone caught outside at this time will end up as a pillar of salt with a unique fungus growing at its base. No one truly knows what happens to an unlucky sinner, but it is a dreadful thought nonetheless. Many have tried to fight back with much failure, but there have been accounts of the angels avoiding the terrible fungus they left behind.

   Whether spoken, shaken by the hand, or written, a deal from hell is one that is binding to the soul. They are most effective with mortal souls as it it soul binding. However, if you do bad in life, a demon you made a deal with can claim your soul and take you to Hell. When under contract, a Sinner will gain physical characteristics from the demon they sold their soul too. This was mostly done to turn Sinners into servants for Overlords, but in recent centuries, Sinners can use it as a form of demonic marriage, whether purposeful or accidental through fine print

   The Ring of Pride is ruled by...well, there is no clear, single ruler over the barren surface with the closest thing to civilization being the hive city of Pentapolis, a sprawling urban landscape that "shields" Hell from Heaven in the form of a seven pointed star. Each point holds and entire city dedicated to a separate other ring, including Pride itself. These mega-districts are designed to house specific Hellborn related to a respective sin with the spaces in between housing the Sinner residents, as mortals carry multiple sins. Dead center is the royal palace and grounds of the Morningstar family. Each member gets there own separate suite, as a result of the Morningstar Civil War after Lilith fought to get out of her husband's oppressive shadow. She is also the reason for the mega city's lawless nature, as rules and laws are just fancier words for oppression in her eyes and as queen, Lilith is determined to grant her "children" the freedom and autonomy she feels she herself has been denied by heaven. The only vague sense of order coming from overlords and the Sin Representatives, special Hellborn chosen to govern a district in place of their homering's Sin. There is, however, and independent spot in the Pride district called "Little Heaven", acting as a holy library curated by Adam and Eve, occasionally giving sanctuary to Sinners, genuine or not

   Initially, hellborns of the Pride Ring had their own languages based on grumble, roar, ‘controlled scream’, and aspects of the body like clapping, snapping, or slamming objects in patterns. This language is known as ‘Impish’ When Lucifer and Lilith fell, both introduced Adamic Language to imps, hellhounds, incubi/ succubi, and locals of the Pride Ring. Impish still existed as ‘peasants’s languages’ while ‘corrupted/Hellish Adamic’ is considered the official and ‘high language’. After the ‘Babelite/Old Morningspeech‘ period, there was another big reformation after Hebrews and Latin-speaking sinners became more noteworthy. The ‘Middle/Common Morningspeech’ was meant to be ‘easily learnt, simple, and direct’ enough for even the laziest idiots to learn the basics in months. Some called it ‘Old Simplified Nugaheem’. Later, the 3rd wave imported English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and ‘loanwords’ of Chinese and Japanese into the Pride Ring. It’s referred as ‘Modern/Intercontinental Nugaheem’ or ‘New Simplified Nugaheem’. Both versions of Nugaheems are commonly used between rings and sinners alike. Official declaration and media tends to use the Old/Classical one, except on casual media and Social Medias.

   Being home to most of the sinners, the Pride Ring contains the best(and the most cruel, and the most ‘exotic’) cuisines that exist in all The Rings of hell. Live Sashimi, Ortolans-Foir Gras, mother boar stuffed with her cooked children and left to rot before eaten decomposed, and local eel cooked alive in an acidic and spiced broth. The cuisine, no matter its ‘normal’ version(as a hell-adapted version of Earthly recipe) or the brutal ones, is enjoyed by sinners who believe they don’t have any virtues to lose(and as a coping mechanism for homesickness). For their ‘creativity’ and struggling beasts being cooked in agony as a show, some middle-class and elite hellborns also enjoy the sadistic feast for the sake of their pride over lesser beings, meals, and shows that give them entertainment, and flavors they may never get to try without arriving on Earth. Several dishes are also a mockery to the faiths of humanity they fail; Beef Tandoori, Pork and dog meat kebab, and food once considered tributes to the gods of the ancient temples. Dozens of business catering dishes have been forgotten by living humans, a few of them were even a pot of stew that has been cooked since the Stone Age. Two main aspects of ‘pride’ in the local cuisine are the roots of sinners and demonic nobility, and the expectation for the ‘authentically fine’ dishes. Recipes are invented and kept secret steadily in the pride ring, while demand for better and more luxurious services is always rising. Sinners who have proven their cooking mastery attract Hellborn customers, which may grant them status as personal chefs, business partners, or licenses to work in Gluttony Ring’s Cornucopia Court.

   Below the barren surface is a frozen landscape of a Ring, Sloth. This frozen piece of hellscape is ruled by Lucifer forced lieutenants, Belphagor and Bathomet, who only wanted to play with puzzles and gaze at the stars. While being cast out for their inaction is not great, their physical punishment was worse, having been blinded and behanded.. While Belphagor would toil away at iteaching demon's on mproving his Ring through technology, Bathomet spiraled into a great depression for an eon, which pushed the development of drugs and medical. After an eon of development, Belphagor would make Sloth a tech wonderland off the backs of his citizens while Bathomet became in tune with the universe while fighting a drug addiction and serving as Hell's judge, for all is balanced: good and evil, Heaven and Hell, life and death.

    In Sloth, Belphagor and Bathomet created two separate races that would be native to this winter wonderland. The first iteration of life would be the Trolls, large, horned humanoids that were created to do most of the work Belphagor wouldn't do. This would result in a failed rebellion. The second true love child race are the Baphomets, or more commonly known as"Candle heads", snake tailed saytrs so named for their ever burning candles that represent their life. They took after their "mother" and developed impressive skills with herbs and medicine, allowing them to control the pharmaceutical side of Sloth.

    The language of Sloth is split between high paced techno babble and slow, prayer-like speak. The closest to Babelite Nugaheem; barely changed. However, more Hebrew, Arabic, and Latin elements are somehow common as loanwords. Sometimes, silence and nonverbal languages between words are ‘part of the speech’. Grammar barely exists, or if it does, it is simple and highly flexible.

    To cook with minimum labor required, people of the Sloth Ring relied on geothermal cooking, pickling, fermenting, steamed, stewing, and dried their food. One of the most popular ingredients is a block of hardtack, jerky, and dried vegetables that get dehydrated, pressed, and smoked as a preserving method. The food is called ’Brothed Blocks’, which is consumed by putting in a boiling fluid and letting it turn into broth for quick and easy consumption. The convenience is highly valued in the Sloth Ring, even before medicalization of the society. Cooking is more a business than housework, as specific families or small groups work as cooks and serve locals quick, easy, and decent-tasted dishes. The common ones are ‘One pot stew’, steamed brother blocks, or tubes of milky and mushy meal. However, time is what the Sloth Ring has more than the Greed Ring for obvious, making them being the best of slow cooking. The tastiest soup, geothermal-baked pulled meat, and steamed bun are mostly in the Sloth Ring. Some local businesses selling stew, soup, or broth claim the pot is always kept full with ingredients constantly running in and cooking slowly but constantly happens. The ultimate form of food in the sloth ring is a thick soup made of ingredients that had been cooked slightly below boiling points for months and left boiled and untouched. The soup slits into three layers; the foamy and complex umami sheet used as seasonings and reserve only for the special customers/guests, the opaque soup with taste of ‘savory, sour, salty, and oddly tang’, and under the bottom is caramelized(and partly burnt) substances giving other layers slightly smokey and mallard taste. The soup is known as ‘Centurion Cauldron’, and those that are proven to cook for over a century constantly are called ‘Bathogorite Cauldron’ as honor.

    As Sloth snow melts to caverns below, we find another barely present ruler, this time the official Sin of Greed compared to Sloth's absent regent or lawless Pride. Mammon is the currently ruling Archdemon who originally came to hell as a sinner. In his mortal life, he was a king and obsessed with the accumulation of wealth; not for his people, but for himself. And at any means necessary. Upon his demise in the great flood, Mammon descended straight into hell and brought with him an entirely new sin; the deadly sin of Greed. Between his status as a direct descendant of Adam and Eve, being one of their geat-great-grand children, his partially nephilim nature, thanks to one of his parents being half angel, a few other technicalities, and the fact that his new sin granted Mammon power equal to their own, the other archdemons eventually agreed to grant him the autonomy to create his own kingdom in hell and reign as its sovereign sin; although most of the other sins consider Mammon to be nothing but an upstart. However, these days he suffers from a literal dragon sickness, overly obsessed with the treasures of his Ring, making it a home to pure, unadulterated capitalism. His absence and abuse has resulted in high poverty and crime, making it almost as lawless as Pride, if it weren't for his sons, Faust and Sutarbi. Unfortunately, things would become worse as they devolved into what their father's role was in this twisted circus, the clown.

    In the deep swampy caverns of Greed, many races skitter about. After becoming ambassador to England, he became fond of their dragon mythos and combined a new form with his crow-like form to fit into the Goetia, as it was Lucifer's court at the time. Seeing that his fellow archdemons were playing God(except his King and Emperor), he decided to have a crack at it and created a race of lizardmen and great drakes, all immediately driven to endangerment when other demons came to settle. Luckily, they would adopt dragon features as millennia marched on. In the modern day, Greed imps are the largest of their species, growing large and bulky to mine precious metals for their Sin. To aid in digging, their hands became as mole-like claws and the tips of their tails large and flat like a shovel. As an added bonus, they can sniff out certain precious gems, their spine color indicating what they can sniff out. Unfortunately, this lifestyle often leads to them developing dragon sickness and start hoarding more than other imps, making them the most disliked imp species in Hell. There is a unique species that was a collaboration between Mammon and Sin of Envy, that being shark demons, or more commonly known as "loan-sharks" due to the fact they brought about mafias before Sinners could. Though they can't compete with imps in numbers, they have a savagery and strength that could rival a wrath imp. With the combined strength of Greed and Envy, crime family rule the streets of Greed while expanding services and operations to the other 6 Rings. The third major species in Greed are the fox demons, conniving and backstabbing corpos that run the mager trusts and businesses in Greed. Yo go along with the Mafia aesthetic of loan-sharks, these high class business men act like early 1900s corporates with a modern twist.

Commoners stick to ‘Official Morningspeech’ with sparingly added jargon.

    Fast, Cheap, and Decent; are the only requirements(yet, crucial) for a functional food business in the Greed Ring. The food is rarely ‘cooked’, but mass manufactured, synthesized, or recycled. Each standardized meal is packaged in preserved conditions, requiring only temperature, microwave oven, or boiling water(or any edible fluid), if needed. Not only can they be made steadily in numbers, nutritional supply is expected to be consumed quickly, yet, not too nourishing to keep the consumers buying it often. “Ingredients” are mostly ‘digested’ leftover biomass(sawdust, moldy fruit peels, meat from a cemetery, and thick slime from sewer), broken into basic, simple nutrients while eliminating contamination by converting them into part of the ingredient paste. There are five types of ‘ingredient paste’; budget(minimalized processes and has a chemical aftertaste, but is very cheap), plain(removed most flavor and odor, with some nutrient values), filler(plant fiber-based, made of sewer algae and plant-based trash), savor(tastiest and the most expensive, made of fresh bodies of rats, insects, pest animals, and locals), and gel(lubricant-like, make consumption faster and less disgusting taste. Also good for sauce base). Ingredient paste is later flavored and kneaded into artificial texture, sorted for each sync-fresh ingredient, before reassembling them into packages. Most products barely have food-like characteristics, are over-seasoned with a numbing taste beyond savoring, and have slimy dough-like texture. However, the population of the Greed Ring lives on under minimum wage and intense work.

    Dividing Hell into the frigid and blazing zones is the fourth, abyssal Ring of Envy. This isolated ring is ruled by one of the three primordial beings that were once the physical guardians of Eden, the Leviathan. A jealous creature made to guard the depths of the ocean, a dark lonely deep while it's siblings, Behemoth and Ziz, witnessed all what the Lord had created. Though her size prevented them from surviving long on land, they could create smaller forms that could catch but glimpse of beyond the abyss, as they could not breath of the air. Leviathan would grow into a spiteful, bitter and vindictive creature, who´s only joy in life is to make others just as miserable as themself. Rumor has it that Leviathan was the one behind Lucifer's and Lilith's rebellion, and maybe Samael's before that. They rule their Ring through their own high class of micro forms given personality, making them "extended family" as they remain trapped in Earth's ocean.

    Though a majority of Envy citizens come in as many shapes as the depths of Earth, they are ruled by a the Sirens, a Goetic like class of ruling demons loosely connected to Leviathan themself, like the descendents of Ghengas Khan. They spread Envy via social media. Think like the Kardashians but ocean based succubi. This, plus the Ring's isolated nature, has made Envy an enclosed system where one's status is based on popularity. This has also made Envites incredibly discriminatory, especially towards the other species: loan sharks, imps, and the other denizens that can't reach Envy. Envy Imps are bottom feeding craw like appearance, being the most adapted species of imp. Most of their jobs are of a servant cast, which is no different than most other imps in other Rings. The third and oldest demon in Envy are the Dolkin, a race of Polynesian dolphin demons that once ruled the few sparse islands riddling the surface. They're numbers are low due to being hunted along with their natural dolphin demon counterparts.

    Combining characteristics of The Greed Ring, The Lust Ring, and Gluttony Ring while also developing their own characteristics. Regional Sublanguage elements are still present, as some pronunciations are incapable to be said by sinners at all. Their language is riddling, highly symbolic, idiomatic, and hides true contexts on purpose(Like Kanto accent to the rest of Japan, but more extreme) Hissing, Croaking, and throat-based pronunciations are common. Adjectives and adverbs are not commonly used, but using them means it’s extra serious.

    Composed almost two-third as a water body by area and most of them are saltwater or acidic seas, local foods are mostly made of algaes, aquatic animals, edible mosses, mangrove fruits, and mud-dwelling crustaceans or bugs. They are also known for a variety of preservation-based ingredients, especially fermenting, pickling and brining. The old cuisine features stable/filler made of the salt marsh and edible mud along with limestone-brined acidic sea-originated food, shellfish broth, and mashed bugs. Pickles are featured as ‘flavonoid’, especially as seasonings, dipping, and base for the curries/stews. ‘New’ Culinary Culture of the Envy Ring is considered ‘localized copy attempts’ of cuisines from Pride and Gluttony Ring, while economically influenced by the Greed Ring and Lust Ring. Dishes are heavily seasoned with both organic and synthetic origins, while nutritions are also added to increase its number (also the hidden amount of toxins and harmful components). Examples include seafood(with bugs mash and digested ingredients from the Greed Ring)-based paste shaped and seasoned as skewers, thin and crispy pizza/crepe made of mixture of dough and salt marsh and topped with local sauce and ‘larvae cheese’(made of salted and smashed larvae), and stuffed bun with ‘stuffing of the day’ that is mysterious and changed daily(or weekly, depend on business flow). Spices are so rare in the Envy Ring that locals rely on parts of local mangrove plants, synthetic acids, limestone-based flavonoid, and heavily-pickled ingredients. Peppery dishes are mostly eaten privately indoors by the upper classes, especially after ‘the spice revolt’ led by middle-class merchants and local thugs to get share of spices from the nobles and Leviathan’s supporters. Most spices are reused in pickling until it loses all the taste while many working classes never had a taste of peppercorn before.

    Below the deep, void that is Envy is another cave world, one where waters from above, occasionally leaking to set a mood that one might consider moody, another miserable, but will always be...sexy. The Ring of Lust is one of depravity and decadence and is the other side of the Vegas analogy. Ruling this Ring, directly this time, is the deadly sin of Lust and self-proclaimed "chillest guy" amongst the archdemons, Asmodeus. The Lord of Lust shares similar origins with Mammon, that being a Sinner before rising to power. Rather than having nephilum blood in his veins, his is the direct spawn between a non-consentiual union of his human mother and one of the Fallen. His half-demonic nature as a nephilim however allowed him to roam hell freely as he saw fit, rather then being bound to the pride ring, and he set out to find and confront his sire; who turned out to be the Archdemon Azazel, the original ruler of the Lust ring. Asmodeus infiltrated his sires court, gradually won over the older demons subjects and ultimately disposed of him, turning him into the new sin of Lust. Asmodeus generally fashions himself as a nice guy, who simply wants to have fun and surround himself with hot people. And for the most part his subjects, the hellborn brood of the succubi and incubi, do favor him and his rule over that of his cruel, abusive father. That being said, Asmodeus is virtually incapable of keeping things in his pants and has no interest in committed, long-term relationships. He gets bored with his partners very quickly and does not hold much sympathy for heartbreak. In fact, he has the most "alliances" in the royal medieval sense, fathering, and mothering, many children, most but not all of them gaining high positions within his court and that of the Arse Goetia and the Sirens

    Living in the neon illuminated darkness, the denizens of Lust conduct their unholy work. The dominant species of this Ring are the succubi and incubi. Though named separate, these two are female and male of the same, bat demon species. As sex demons, they are tasked with spreading their sin through seductive means, as they literally live off sex.Throughout Hell, they run/work at brothels and strip joints of all kinds, allowing kinks of similar variety, making Lust the second most influence sin and ring. Such fame has allowed a ton of tourism, which then leads to "population booms" to say the least. The most successful hybrids come from imps, of course. Though closer to wrath cousins in anatomy, though with low hanging wings, fangs, and their 10/10 abilities in bed. They are less social and more territorial, at least in their personal lives. Another benefiting hybrid are candle heads. They, too, inherited lust abilities, which have altered their medicinal skills to create a sex drug industry:pills, pheromone candles, and magic serums/potions.

Whether sweet, salty, acidic, bitter, spicy, or savory, the flavors are meant to be strong and harmonized. Fruits, chocolate, seafood, or some specific herbs, spices, and mushrooms are featured in every dish in the Lust Ring, and at least a few of them together make an ideal food for the lusty dwellers. Vitamins, Minerals, Lean Whey Protein, and Artificial flavonoids play a major part in lust ring, where calories and nutrition are taken seriously to maintain stamina and appeal. In addition, hell’s version of collagens, zero-calorie fillers, and meal pills are invented after the concept of human nutrition sciences. Before the appearance of modern sciences, people of the Lust Ring relied on greens, fruits, insects, and ‘filler’ like jellyfish drakes, edible sponges, or konjac-like plants. Despite a focus on quick consumption, unlike the Greed Ring, Lust Ring’s cuisine offers more varieties of meals; salad wrap, smoothie, veggie bowl, and fruity bar. Its food manufacturing is less massive and more ‘tailoring’; it’s mostly customized to customers’ requests by nutritional and flavor preferences. Some kiosk machine franchises from the Greed Ring are featured, but middle-class and upper-income ones prefer to buy their food from local businesses they know by persons. In addition, the culinary knowledge of the Lust Ring is less art and more sciences; nutrition, medicines, beauty maintenance, and performance demand the food service industry to nourish local hellborns without excesses or malnutrition. A few local universities even established specific schools for nutritional sciences, physical maintenance medicine, beauty pharmacy, etc.

25. #25The Lost Paradise of Gluttony

    The dripping, salty rains of Lust drip down to another Ring, one fueled by the flaming desert of Wrath below it, creating the tropical paradise of Gluttony. This Ring is duo ruled by Beelzebub and Cerberus. Beelzebub began her existence as a humble Cherub and primarily got wrapped up in Lucifers rebellion, because she felt heaven was a boring snooze-fest that desperately needed a fresh wind. Plus, she certainly did not appreciate her elders lecturing her about her wastefulness or her lack of gratitude. An attitude Beelzebub payed for, by being banished to hell and cursed to never feel any satisfaction ever again. Unlike most of her peers, Beelzebub took her fall with a stride and will happily tell anyone who wants, or doesn't want to hear it, that she is much happier living in hell, ruling over the hell brood of hellhounds and bugs. Sure, she might be eternally hungry, but that just means she will never feel compelled to stop eating; or just partying in general. Much better then lame, stinky old heaven. As the eons went on, however, she became tied to the old ways thanks to her curse, making her embody hastily and uncleanness, matching the fly she pretends not to be. The worse half of this union is one many guardians of Hell, Cerberus. The three headed beast was tasked to guard the gates of Gluttony as well as any little tears in-between Earth and Hell, regulating the any expedition of the Arse Goetia. When Beelzebub fell, she released him from his chains and sealed an alliance through marriage after a few "territorial disputes". They both found it beneficial to be the second unholy couple in Hell at the beginning, but have slowly grown to find real love with each other. Now, he has the addition to keep track of demon deals and sends his hellhounds accordingly, which he hates Lucifer for it. The marriage would result in one of their children to embody the new version of Gluttony. Relatively young, "Honey" has become what her mother used to be: a party girl. Being an empath, Honey feeds into her sin through the "vibe" of the party, feeding off the happy energy of her party goers. The energy acts as both a form of sustanence as well as a high, feeding into her nice, valley girl persona. However, if she absorbs any kind of bad vibes, that sweet and bubbly persona will slowly drop til that party pooper is either banned for life or food. Anything like that is on the down low, as she has an image to maintain, even if she IS mingling with the lower classes. Thanks to this family, Gluttony has become the No. 1 vacation destination with Lust being it's close second, not that that factors into the relationship between the two leaders.

    Though the origin of the 2 main species was for war purposes, both have found a home in their native Ring. First off are the hellhounds. Though just as intelligent as most species, they are a pet race thanks to some tampering that is more complicated and complex than what humans did with dogs on Earth. They still thrive, in fact most enjoy being companions, however, all suffer hard upbringing in kennels, a shitty adoption service, and the possibility of shitty owners. Most of their jobs consist of guard or military services, much like regular dogs, although other jobs are available. Ever since Honey's parties got popular in the 70s, litter booms have inadvertently caused these problems to get worse. As for the bugs, they are as varied as the bugs of Earth, filling many roles. The most high society bugs are the bee demons due to their "connections" with the 'Zebub family, though there's not much catering to the species. As for imps, the Gluttony species have adapted to be anthro Honeypot ants. They have to job to move around the honey used to make the highly addicting Beelese-juice. To do this, they evolved an expandable thorax and body, making them bigger and stronger in order to transport. Whatever liquid they carry can be seen through their thorax as well as their eyes.

Context of genders, ages, and relationship between senders and receivers are almost nonexistent beside familial and friendship closeness-related contexts. In addition, food products from Earth are being sold there legally. In addition, the sinners and hellborns alike who are the best in culinary are usually found in Cornucopia Court; a complex building combining restaurants, supermarkets, fresh markets, cooking suppliers, and food stalls. With combinations of ingredients local to hell, imported supplies from Earth, masters of cooking in various origins, and constant high demand for the gourmet, the Gluttony Ring becomes a breeding ground for creative and rich cuisines. Unlike the Pride Ring, food is valued as nourishment and performance to witness by aroma, texture, and flavor, rather than unrelated overt decor and screaming of live ingredients. Plus, rather than the essence of the ancient recipes and stories of the dish, the food of the Gluttony Ring is focused on aspects of business, culture, honor, nourishment, and innovation. From all-you-can-eat Full English Breakfast Buffet(it is quite a challenge to traffic black puddings and baked beans without raising an eyebrow at Earth’s authorities) to a hell’s adaption of Paletas, there are ten thousand food businesses on the ring. There was a saying “There is always a feast you dream of or need in the Gluttony Ring. You may just not find or be aware of it yet.” However, the spotlight of the Gluttony Ring is on all-you-can-eat buffets, offering different cuisines and price ranges. Unlike the Omakase/tailoring dishes culture that is more common in the Pride Ring, Gluttony Ring’s meal focuses on getting great food with good numbers at affordable prices.

    The 7th and final Ring is the very definition of a Hell hole. Wrath is a hot, dry wasteland with volcanos and other fire based disasters. How anything lives down here is a complete mystery, but anything that is is the toughest, ugliest and meanest creatures in all of Creation. Who better to rule than the angriest bastard that Heaven unintentionally made, Samael. More commonly known as Satan, Samael embodies the sin of Wrath. He was once an Archangel and heavens most devoted protector, but joined Lucifer's rebellion when he felt that heaven was getting complacent in its eternal fight against evil. For the violence and harm he unleashed upon his kin, Samael was sentenced to join his fellow rebels in their eternal imprisonment in hell; and he never forgave heaven for this sentence. Today Samael is a creature utterly consumed by hatred and a blinding, insatiable need for vengeance. He holds dominion over the hellborn brood known as imps, and when he is not busy plotting his revenge and brooding over the past in his stronghold, he initiates turf wars and blood feuds between his subjects to weed out the weak amongst them. Samael has zero tolerance for whimsical fools notions like compassion, serenity, mercy or forgiveness, and takes cruel pleasure in eradicating them on sight wherever he sees them. However, the title of Satan is split, between him and his wife. That's right! The devil wears pradas, if she could or would. Satan acts as the true ruler while her husband plots like a cartoon villain. She also acts as an extension of Lucifer, being whatever Hell would have twisted him into if he wasn't powerful enough to cast it out. Currently, the two respect each other enough for her to keep her husband in check of any power grabs he tries to do, despite the Golden One beating him multiple times before. Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn.

    Imps were the first demons hellborn raised up by the Archdemons, originally being prey items for bigger, meaner hell spawn creatures. When Samael first fell, he raised up the little clans, the best of them still fighting each other til Samael attempted another rebellion, this time against Lucifer. By the time he did, the first generation of sinners had already fell thanks to the flood. Over the centuries after, they were secretly sent up to Earth to fight in humanity's armies or as elite assassins to deal with curtain leaders to aid in said wars. Meanwhile, back in Hell, their versatility and adaptable nature has allowed them to sparely populate Wrath in small cattle towns with the only city being around the Palace of Wrath itself, producing various weapons and a lovely meat market. Imps here, being the toughest ones around, have very deep, crimson skin with more black areas, especially the tail. Other physical characteristics include bovine-esque features in the face, horns and legs, which is perfect for the cowboy rancher lifestyle in the Wrathful Wastelands. Hellhounds down there seen to have it better, as their role as protectors and fellow farmhands have earned them equal social footing in Wrathian societies outside the city. Another race are the Naga, who were run out of Lust with the growing population of succubi/incubi. Most would find secret refuge in Gluttony before more came to Wrath, where they better perform as mercs and bandits than anything else. Other native species include minotaurs and manticores, roaming the badlands and mingling with settlements, servicing as extra big muscle.

    Aspects of animal husbandry, hunting, and wars culturally shape populations of the Wrath Ring. Their food is mostly carnivorous, preserved or cooked to have a long shelf life, and heavily spiced. The Wrath Ring has two main groups of sub-cultures: the nomads and the forgebeasts.

    The Nomads rely their life on their mount animals, hunting wild beasts, and taming flight animals(like fiery hawks or midget bat-drakes). Their food mostly consists of preserved meat, cheese, yogurt, and a hardtack-like ration made of foraged wild grains and nuts. Occasionally, especially for successful raids, the birth of strong heirs from powerful families, or the declaration of the new khan, full roasted animals, fermented alcoholic yogurt, and spicy berries-based chutney are involved as a celebration.

    The forgebeasts, however, are settled animal farmers and blacksmiths, relying on raid and slaves-growth grains and rooted plants. Spices and meat symbolize the elites as the common warriors mostly rely on offals, rough cuts of smaller animals’ meat, and grains/rooted starch. Spicy food and strong alcohol are locals’ favorite relievers of laboring and oppressive life, especially stew made of potatoes, rooted vegetables, meat, offals, and bones, and affordable spice mixes(Sometimes with sulfur, magmatic rock, or specific acidic mixes) enjoyed with a vodka-like drink. The stew also serves as a reminder of family and battle comradery since meat is usually bought by combining each member’s cash, and the meal is shared from the common cauldron.

    Since urbanization and integration between the two cultures, populations of the Wrath Ring formed its outstanding identity; spicy dairy-based dishes with a fondness for spiciness, pungence, and ‘meaty’ savory. One of the most adored dishes of the Wrath Ring is ‘scourged gargoyle’; a roasted full gargoyle/gigantic muscular bat bathed in spicy sauce and aged cheese. More modern approaches are spicy wraps, meal jerky, and sausage-based grab-and-go.
