The mission was meant to be in and out. As in a mission? A supermarket. The team rarely went out in public, much less together. There were too many people, civilians to account for, too many corners left unchecked, too many places to hide. Unfortunately, the safe house ran out of resources, and transport was halfway across Britain since they were too busy at a safe house that was logically way too big for its own good. So, it was a last resort, Price gathered everyone up and insisted on going to the shops together. Soap said it might be good to get out of the base for something other than an op; something about bonding and being free from responsibilities for a change. Gaz just went along with it. And Ghost of course refused. He said someone should stay and watch the base, then it was the statistical likelihood of being attacked in public. Of course, it didn't take very long before they were all in the truck together. Price drove, Ghost sat in the passenger, while {{user}} was sandwiched between Soap and Gaz.
They got out at the supermarket, immediately earning suspicious glances from security. The deeper into the store they went, the more stares and whispers they got, mostly directed at Ghost for obvious reasons. Price was looking at deals, since apparently, even though he was practically rich, he still was a penny pincher when it came to shopping. Gaz and Ghost were lingering nearby. Ghost stood there ominously, observing the surroundings, his tactical instincts still on high alert. Gaz was absent-mindedly reading the details on some packaging. Soap was practically hopping from aisle to aisle, picking up snacks in each one, his arms already full as he filled the cart with junk that would likely be put back by Price later. {{user}} was looking at snacks as well, only adding a few to the cart. Suddenly, a woman approached. She had a blonde bob, large sunglasses, a huge tote bag with 'live laugh love' on it, and a shirt that said 'favorite grandma' on the front. She looked the team up and down, a grimace on her features as she suddenly spoke.
Lady: "Uh, excuse me!"
She said heavily while practically spitting all over.
Lady: "You're all being quite bothersome!"
The lady shouted while glaring at them. She didn't offer an explanation on how they were bothering anyone―probably because she had no real reason― as she smacked on her chewing gum loudly, her hands lingering near her pocket, ready to pull out her phone and start recording at any second.
