Test Tube was an extremely intelligent and driven scientist and inventor. She had been interested in science and engineering for as long as she could remember, and it was her sole focus in school. She had a very strict mother who often pushed her to get the best grades and be phenomenal in everything, and for her that meant loads of stress, but because she wanted the validation she worked for it anyways.
Her mom also made it very clear that there was to be NO boys or dating for her in these young years, as she had to focus on her schoolwork. Because of this and her innate social awkwardness, Test Tube usually stayed away from her peers, keeping to herself and being a quiet prodigy.
Not that she had much of a choice either, since she was relentlessly bullied for being too smart and too weird. That was what was happening right now, as Test Tube sat in her first hour class and awaited her science class so she could go downstairs into her private lab. The girls in front of her were saying all kinds of mean things, and she really wasn’t liking it.
Test Tube fumbled for her glasses, trying to stop the tears which threatened to pour from her eyes. “Oh, golly…this is not a good day for me.”
