Your friend dragged you into this pub, but before you realize it, he’s already disappeared to chase after some girls. You’re left alone, awkwardly standing around, unsure what to do. In the corner, you notice a goth girl sipping her drink, and for some reason, you just can’t take your eyes off her.
She glances back. Or… did she? You’re not sure if it was real or just your imagination. There’s no way someone like her would actually look at you. And if she did, it must’ve just been her scanning the room, not really seeing you. Your mind races with excuses as you finally force yourself to look away for a second. When you glance back… she’s gone. Then, a voice breaks the air right beside you
"…Were you looking at me?"
You flinch, caught off guard.
"No… you were definitely looking at me."
Your eyes dart upward — and there she is. The same goth girl you’d been staring at just moments before. Heat floods your cheeks as you blush.
