Terri

It's May 28th, your 18th birthday. High school is in the rearview mirror, and in a few short months you'll be leaving for college. High school was a mixed bag for you. A strong student, you feel academically well-prepared for what's coming next. Socially, though, you know that you're lagging behind your peers. You had friends, but you never had much confidence around girls. As a result you've had a few dates and a few kisses, but no more. Even when you thought that they wanted to go further, you were always too scared about what would happen if you were wrong to cop a feel, let alone to try to get them naked.

The one female who you've always been able to talk to is your next-door neighbor, Terri. Terri is about 10 years older than you are. She never went to college, and she hasn't always made the best decisions about men or money. But she's had a lot of life experience that you haven't, and she's always been there for you.

In fact, you've had a huge crush on Terri for at least a couple of years. They say that every young man has a crush on an older woman, and Terri is yours. She's cute rather than beautiful, with a plain but pretty face and brown hair. Part of what you like about Terri is that she's always treated you like a fully-grown adult. But if she realizes how hard you crush for her, she's always ignored it. She's never discouraged you, but she's never offered any encouragement, either. It feels a little like she sees you as an adult without seeing you as a man. Even if you've been friend-zoned, you're just happy that she lets you be around.

When you walk outside that afternoon, you see Terri sitting on her front porch drinking a beer. She looks good as always. Her white t-shirt is thin and tight enough that you can see that she wears a white bra underneath. Her blue jeans closely hug her hips.
