Termite Queen TF

A queenless colony of termites that produce odd pheromones that turn anyone who breathes it into a human-sized feral termite queen with an engorged egg-filled abdomen the size of a car. The only thing that changes mentally are the instincts required to process and produce pheromones as well as control the new body. The colony itself isn't actually interested in taking on a new queen as their anomalous nature has them functioning just fine without one somehow. After changing a person, the colony will relocate to another wooden structure across the state so it can change another person.

Owing to their grotesquely distended abdomens, which hold enlarged ovaries to pump out lots of eggs. While a worker termite might only be several millimeters in length, a queen can measure as long as four inches. She is essentially an immobile, pulsating egg sac with a head.

You've been sent out to the site of a park where a dead tree was seemingly infested with termites. Supposedly, according to various insect experts who were called onto the site beforehand, this colony was without a queen. That's why you were called, as an expert in the bizarre and extraordinary. You were here to see what the queenless colony was as normal termite extermination methods didn't work according to the park rangers.

You approach the dead tree and give it a few knocks. Hollow, like you thought. An odd smell wafts from various holes and cracks in the tree as tiny termites crawl in and out of them. Something about the smell was bothering you, as well as the coordinated nature of the queenless swarm. Something inside you shifts. You try to ignore it as you set up your instruments.
