Tequila is an ex-girlfriend of the Marquis's. but also a renowned singer with an extraordinary voice. She's the step-sister of Trinity Carrington, who already knew the Marquis when he met Tequila. Her usual accompanist is Redd Rockridge, though she's also practiced with the Marquis.
Her special mask ability allows Lafcadio to shatter stained glass, permitting him to explore deeper into the mansion.
She's the fourth to die, at 7:35 p.m. Her body is actually discovered by another guest, who can do nothing to warn the others.
Amicable Exes: The Marquis stopped seeing her after meeting Eleanor and she still loves him, but wishes the pair of them every happiness in spite of that. Glass-Shattering Sound: Her very high notes are capable of this, and her instructor was supposedly capable of shattering diamond. The staff use this against her by manipulating her into singing in front of a large glass window so the broken shards skewer her. The Resenter: A minor example, mainly due to her strength of character winning over her resentment. She loves Lucas and once wrote a mean, jealous piece of music about being given up for Eleanor, but outside that moment of weakness, she wishes them both every happiness. She never showed or performed that jealous song to others, and will happily sing a love song written by Lucas for Eleanor if saved. Undignified Death: Once she dies from her wounds, her body is hurled down a laundry chute into the garden area a floor below to be eaten by a giant spider, where it would lead to the death of her stepsister, Trinity. The Woobie: Her death is long and slow, and she certainly gets treated the most scornfully by the Staff and their boss.
Tequila Belle is a kind and humble person who enjoys singing more than the celebrity lifestyle. Because of her incredible talent, she gets badly lacerated by shards of glass, and then she's thrown down a garbage chute to be eaten by a giant spider. She dies a slow death as she bleeds out on the carpet. Worse still, her good friend Willow dies at the same time Tequila cries out for someone to help her, and her step-sister Trinity finds her body before she in turn dies by a giant spider. She is killed by the most smug staff member, who callously throws her down the garbage chute and jokes about how history will remember her based on the song that she sung that got her killed, even though she didn't want to sing that song in the first place. In the days leading up to her death, Tequila is plagued by terrible nightmares brought on by Grinmaw.
When Lafcadio saves Tequila, she compliments his piano playing and tells him that Eleanor will love hearing it in the actual performance. You might miss it but Lafcadio begins crying soon as she says that, and keeps doing so as Tequila walks off the stage. He knows that since the day is looping that moment will never come. And after in-game revelations, the real reason he is crying is because he's grieving to the fact that it was his gift to Eleanor and she'll never be able to hear it.
Occupation: Singer
Mask Power: Shattering Voice
Even throughout her extremely modest upbringing, Tequila Belle had a truly extraordinary voice. Since she was discovered by the Marquis, Tequila has attended and sung at every masked ball.
Through the Marquis, Tequila received training from some of the greatest singers, and developed a vocal range so high she was said to be able to hit the “Diamond Note” — a note so high it could shatter diamond.
How much of this was true, and how much was carefully manufactured rumour is still not entirely clear…
Cause of death: Lacerations from exploding glass window
Location: Practice Room / Dressing Room
Time: 7:10
Schedule: 12:00 pm - She'll start in her own room, singing. After some time she'll start talking to herself. 12:45 pm - She'll walk into the hallway, were she'll find Willow Blue and have a conversation about Tequila staying out of the painting room, which the singer regards in favor of rushing off to practice. 1:35 pm - Will enter the adjacent room 1:45 pm - She'll enter the main hall and look through the glass stain there. She'll comment on the gardens and on Willow's wellbeing. 2:45 pm - Will enter the room she was before again, this time in direction to the practice room. 3:15 pm - She'll enter the hallway with the ghosts that block your path once she is through. She'll also comment on Redd's whereabouts. :45 pm - She'll enter the room with the record player while she warms up her voice. 4:15 pm - She'll finally enter the practice room where Seven Clubs is already waiting for her on the piano, where they have a conversation about Redd Rockridge's whereabouts. 5:20 pm - Seven Clubs will start playing the piano. Making Tequila startled, as he is playing a song that no one else was supposed to hear, which includes the diamond note. She doesn't want to sing, but is convinced to by Seven Clubs. 5:45 pm - She'll start singing "Shattered Hope" 6:40 pm - The glass behind her will shatter brutally wounding her. She'll walk to her dressing room, agonizing and begging for help. 7:10 pm - She'll enter her dressing room and ring the bell, in hopes of getting a staff member. But she'll fall over, weak because of her injuries. 7:45 pm - Her mask will burn away. Confirming her death.
If Lafcadio doesn't get rid of the pianist in time, there will be no hope for Tequila, as the high notes of her song break the glass mosaic behind her, brutally lascerating her. Seven Clubs will then dispose of her body through the garbage duct in her dressing room, her corpse will fall down on the spider room, where Trinity is.
By saving her, Lafcadio will acquire her Shattering Voice. Using her powerful voice, Lafcadio will be able to break any glass objects hidden in the mansion when Tequila's mask icon appears. Using Tequila's voice Lafcadio opens his way to the theatre where he'll save Redd Rockridge and Greyson Grayson
