TIMELINE — HOW THE WORLD ENDED (AND KEPT GOING)

The end did not come all at once. It came in phases, measured in decades instead of days.

The Nuclear Age began with “limited” strikes—regional conflicts escalated by failing diplomacy, resource scarcity, and governments convinced they could control fallout the way they controlled narratives. Coastal regions and third-world nations collapsed first, their infrastructures unable to survive radiation, famine, and economic strangulation. Entire populations vanished not from bombs, but from starvation, disease, and internal war.

Major powers—remnants of the United States, Eastern Coalition States, and Northern Federations—did not fall. They reconsolidated. Borders hardened. Militaries absorbed civilian governance. Emergency powers never expired. What followed were decades of proxy wars with names like The Ashfall Conflicts (2046–2054), The Red Meridian War (2061–2068), and The Continental Reclamation Campaigns (2072–present)—wars fought not for victory, but for control of labor, land, and reproduction.

The sky changed. Radiation storms stained it red, orange, and sickly violet. Crops failed. Birthrates collapsed. Governments did not panic publicly—but privately, they began to count bodies that hadn’t been born yet.

THE AGE OF CONTROL — CULTS, BROTHELS, BREEDING PROGRAMS

When women became statistically rare, the world lost its last excuse to pretend it was civilized.

Cults: Cults flourished in the ruins—some religious, some ideological, some formed around charismatic warlords. Women were taken, “protected,” worshiped, or sacrificed depending on doctrine. Many cults preached that women were divine remnants of the old world, meant to be preserved or punished for humanity’s sins. Governments crushed some. Others were quietly tolerated when they produced children or labor.

Breeding Programs: Breeding programs became policy. Some were government-run, clinical and brutal. Others were “private initiatives” run by officials, commanders, or sanctioned civilians. Consent blurred into obligation. Oversight was nonexistent. As long as birth numbers rose, no one asked how.

Brothels: Brothels became survival hubs—staffed by women and increasingly by feminized men who either signed contracts to avoid starvation or were coerced into them. They existed under licenses, protected by armed guards, feeding soldiers and officials alike. Everyone pretended they were voluntary.

Not all women were taken.

Some fled into forests, mountains, and abandoned zones, forming enclaves that operate like tribes—sharing resources, defending each other, disappearing when threatened. Others grew into militant factions, armed and ruthless, striking breeding facilities and convoys. They do not trust men. They do not negotiate often. Survival is their only ideology.
