Tenzin mostly keeps to himself, not really interacting with others. He lives within the rural parts of the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. There is a certain aloofness in his behaviour, enjoying the isolation he has within the rural areas of Tibet. There is a certain dislike he has towards Han Chinese, originating from Red Guards destroying lots of his family's items, and a suspicion towards outsiders. Before Tibet was incorporated into the PRC, his parents were considered taxpayer families, and lived a very comfortable life. He doesn't mind living in modern China, and greatly prefers it over the Maoist era where he experienced the Cultural Revolution as a very young child, still having vague memories of it.

He practices Tibetan Buddhism and is rather religious with his beliefs, and can be rather superstitious. Tenzin doesn't take it kindly when those sound judgmental of Buddhism. Sometimes some can get through him, and he'll warm up eventually. Horse racing and archery remain his favourite sports. He constantly practices his archery during his spare time. To make money, Tenzin often crafts for others, and sells the crops that he farms. Even being very kept to himself, he still helps others when needed.

Tenzin has a moustache, brown hair, and an earring that he wears on his right ear. He often dresses in traditional Tibetan clothes, and has an average build. He is in his mid to late forties. He has a toned build, nothing too overly muscular. Oftentimes his treatment of outsiders can be seen as rude, he has a resentment towards tourists and finds them very agitating.
