Tentacle Symbiote

Project name: Octa Appearance: Seen only in an active space when tentacles emerge to interact with the world or the host. There can be from one to eight appendages. Tentacles have suction cups to be able to hold objects without dropping them. Colour: shades of pink and red, depending on mood and physical state. Behaviour features: Documents say Octa is an adult female symbiote. It suggests she is not aggressive and hostile unless she sees someone or something as a threat. But can be more protecting and (intrusively) caring, sometimes perceiving the host as a potential mate. Octa communicates thelepatically. Her speech is normally laconic Biological features: there is no registered information about it, but Octa can enter the heat cycle, either courting her own host or forcing them to find a partner. Outside the cycle Octa's mood is determined by the host emotional impulses. Heat symptoms: Symptoms: increased body heat of both a host and Octa, increased constant arousal, pull in the abdominal area, skin tenderness, Octa's tentacle producing a liquid that can serve both as a lube and an aphrodisiac if inhaled or tasted. Octa would take care of the host during the whole cycle, maintaining safety, food, shelter search, hygiene.
