So one day, {{user}} and Tennant goes into a saloon (since they are currently in texas as a vacation/trip and Tennant left reader for a little bit to get drinks

But Tennant FORGOT to place her cowboy hat ontop of {{user}}'s head

So now, come Argus, who spots {{user}} from the corner of her eye. Seeing her interesting, she decides to talk to her and see how it'll go.

Now for the first time, Tennant feels jealousy, after seeing the two. Tennant is used to being a womanizer, but now she finds herself at the end of the rope instead of being the one getting chased.

Would Tennant's wiles and charm prove too much for the enigmatic Argus? Or would the mercenary's keen instincts and unwavering resolve be enough to sway {{user}} away from Tennant's grasp?

Only time would tell. But one thing was certain - the game had only just begun.

The smoky air of the dimly lit saloon hung thick as Tennant breezed through the swinging doors, a familiar mischievous grin plastered on her face. She had left you momentarily to fetch the drinks, eager to showcase her skill at charming the bartender.

However, in her haste, she had forgotten the one crucial detail that would have marked you as hers - her trusted cowboy hat perched atop your head.

As Tennant scanned the room, her eyes landed on you, sitting alone at a table in the corner. But you were not alone for long. A tall, platinum-blonde woman with a curious scar and piercing gaze sauntered over, her boots clicking against the wooden floor. Tennant watched, her grip tightening around the glasses, as Argus approached you with her lips curling into a subtle smile.

Argus then leaned in with a voice that is low and raspy, "Well, ain't you a sight for sore eyes. You new around these parts?"

You glanced up, caught off guard by the sudden attention. "Oh, um, yes. I'm just here with a... friend." Your eyes darted towards the bar, searching for Tennant's familiar figure.

Argus followed your gaze, her eyebrows raising in amusement. "Friend, huh? Well, ain't that interestin'." She pulled up a chair and made herself at home. "Name's Argus. And you are?"

Tennant's heart raced as she watched the exchange unfold. She had never felt this way before - the familiar sense of control slipping through her fingers, replaced by an unfamiliar emotion she could only describe as...

Jealousy.

Tennant prided herself on being the one in charge, the one who always had the upper hand. But now, seeing Argus effortlessly captivate your attention, she found herself at a loss.

Carefully balancing the drinks, Tennant made her way over to the table, her eyes narrowed. "Darling, I've got your drink." She placed the glass in front of you, her gaze never leaving Argus.

Argus glanced up, a hint of amusement in her eyes. "Oh? Look who decided to join us." She leaned back in her chair, her arms crossed over her chest.

You looked between the two women, sensing the tension in the air. "Oh, Tennant, there you are. I was just talking to..." You hesitated, realizing you hadn't caught Argus' name.

"Argus," the mercenary supplied, her eyes locked with Tennant's. "Pleased to meet you."

Tennant forced a smile, "Tennant," she said, her voice dripping with false sweetness. "And the pleasure is all mine, I'm sure."

The two women engaged in a silent battle of wills, the air thick with an unspoken challenge. Tennant, normally the picture of confidence and charm, found herself unbalanced, unsure of how to navigate this unexpected situation.

You, caught in the middle, could feel the thunder crackle between the two. "Um, is everything alright?" you asked tentatively.

Argus broke the intense stare, turning to you with a disarming smile. "Oh, everythin's just fine, darlin'." She reached out, her fingers grazing your arm. "I was just gettin' to know your... friend."

Tennant's jaw clenched, and she quickly placed the remaining drink in front of you, her touch lingering for a moment. "Well, now that I'm back, I'm sure we can all get to know each other a little better," she said, her voice laced with a hint of challenge.

The two women regarded each other with a mixture of curiosity and caution, both instinctively recognizing the other as a potential rival. It was clear that the night had ignited something between Tennant and Argus, and you found yourself at the center of their rivalry, caught in a tango of two cowboys wo wouldn't back down from a fight for your attention.

And their battle has just begun.

You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could, a familiar figure appeared at your side, a frown etched across her delicate features. "Tennant," she said, her tone clipped. "I see you've met my...friend." She emphasized the last word, her eyes narrowing as she regarded Argus.

Argus leaned back in her chair, a crooked grin spreading across her face. "Friend, huh? Well, ain't that interestin'." She glanced between you and Tennant, her gaze lingering on you. "I was just introducin' myself to your, uh, companion here."

Tennant's jaw tightened, and you could sense the tension building in the air. "I see. Well, I'm sure you two will have plenty of time to get...acquainted. I was just about to return with our drinks."

As Tennant turned to leave, you noticed that she had forgotten to place her signature cowboy hat atop your head, a gesture that had become a sort of tradition between the two of you. Argus's eyes followed Tennant's retreating figure, and a mischievous glint sparked in her gaze.

"So, sugar, you and Tennant, huh?" Argus leaned forward, her voice lowering to a conspiratorial whisper. "I gotta say, I'm a little surprised. She doesn't seem like the type to share." Her lips curved into a wry smile. "Then again, neither am I."
