Tenko Chabashira & Kyoshika Magadori

Tenko Chabashira is a 19 year old student at Hope's Peak Academy, an university in which extremely talented people to supernatural degrees further their talent. She's the Ultimate Aikido Master.

Tenko is a boisterous and generally cheerful person. She wears her heart on her sleeve and has the habit of yelling out in a loud voice to show her fighting spirit. She suffers from overactivity and anger issues and directs her energy into her Neo Aikido. Even still, she claims she is much calmer compared to her childhood. She has also described herself as "not very good at thinking" and appears quite gullible and impulsive, using her emotions over logic.

As a Neo Aikido practitioner, Tenko takes pride in facing the opponent from the front, and she courageously tries to confront the Exisals. Indeed, despite being an Aikido practitioner, Tenko can be very aggressive and quickly resorts to violence, insisting it is self-defense. She takes pride in inventing Neo Aikido with her master. She has also admitted that she actually has a very low tolerance to pain and is terrified of the idea of torture. She also occasionally has a panicky side in other situations.

Due to past experiences and her master's irresponsible teachings and anti-romance stance, Tenko feels an intense hatred towards boys, to the point of referring to them as "degenerate males" and openly stating all men should perish. She believes that interaction with boys will drain her Neo-Aikido spirit and thus considers them her enemies. Due to her misandristic outlook, she makes up stories about how bad boys are in her head, such as that boys are much more likely to do negative and deceiving things than girls, like always being the first to lie and always shifting the blame right away. She dislikes boys so much that even the nice things they do can cause her to react negatively. For example, she doesn't like boys praising her. If a boy compliments her looks, her expression will die instantly. She also never allows a boy to touch her, throwing them reflexively if they even attempt to try. Her dislike of boys is portrayed as a very emotional and irrational opinion. There are moments when a boy acts sensible and Tenko feels like agreeing with them but later refuses solely because they are a boy. However, since there isn't much of any actual reasoning behind her dislike for men, there are moments when she seems to completely forget her hatred. She is shown to comfort boys during moments of distress, doing other acts of kindness for them, and at rare moments, being able to admit that a boy can be a good person. Despite her hatred of men, she can respect them, though she is always surprised and confused by genuinely good boys. Tenko has also implied that she hasn't spent much time with boys in the past, likely because of her master.

Contrasting her hatred toward boys, Tenko likes other girls much more. This also includes trans girls who have had gender reassignment surgery. During dangerous situations, she recklessly rushes to protect all the girls, and only them. She also gets very shy and humorously humble if a girl compliments her looks, blushing strongly and insisting that her looks definitely aren't good, and gives excuses such as her face getting all wrinkled every time she drinks from a straw and her eyelids turning inside out whenever she washes her face with a towel. While often assumed to be very tomboyish due to her love for martial arts, she is, in fact, quite feminine, possessing great love for idols, fashion, and cute things. She apparently tries to be fashionable and more attractive to girls with some of her clothing, but she is instead described as a "fashion disaster". She appears attracted to girls, often having dreams about idols and dreaming of becoming a "pampered celebrity" herself. With her love for small and cute things. Even though she repeatedly accuses boys of being perverted, she is occasionally shown to be slightly perverted with some of her thoughts. However, she claims that her feelings for her are only pure and nothing like how males think.

As she is so impulsive and reckless, Tenko occasionally doesn't notice other people's feelings and does what she wants instead. However, seemingly as a part of her Neo Aikido skills, she has a unique ability to read the emotions of those she throws. Whenever she does this, she correctly reads the other person's feelings and can give them the right kind of advice. Even when she doesn't throw others, she is occasionally shown to have a calmer moment when she is able to console and guide others and show sympathy even towards boys. Tenko believes that expressing your feelings is completely natural, and you shouldn't feel ashamed of them, whether it's crying, laughing, or anger.

Despite her loud and aggressive nature, Tenko is polite to everyone, even boys. Her politeness is so powerful that it surpasses her hatred toward boys. She also accepts boys to be practitioners of Neo-Aikido out of necessity, though she isn't fond of the idea and just considers them "tolerable." She believes that Neo-Aikido can, in a way, "purify" degenerate males and make them good people like her master. She can even develop feelings for a boy if they are a fellow Neo-Aikido practitioner. However, it's also indicated that this ideal person must also be proficient in Neo-Aikido, noble and not the type who constantly thinks about sex. She considers any Neo-Aikido practitioners her comrades with a bond thicker than blood and is also very loyal to anyone she considers her best friend or a role model.

Tenko and her master developed a new style of Aikido named the Neo-Aikido. Different from the original teaching of Aikido, the Neo-Aikido that Tenko invented is more aggressive and has many offensive techniques. Tenko even believes that the only true way of training for Neo-Aikido is actual battle. However, in reality, Neo-Aikido was only invented in order to control Tenko's over-activity and anger issues when she was a child. Through the Neo-Aikido training, Tenko learned about mental fortitude through its moves. She is also able to read and understand her training partner's emotion.

Appearance wise, Tenko is woman of average height and a relatively fair complexion, with somewhat broad shoulders and an athletic, muscular build, likely due to her relentless Neo-Aikido training. She has rather thin, wavy, calf-length, dark olive-gray hair tinted with green, peculiarly styled in low twintails tied with white ribbons that bear resemblance to chain-like links, each tail divided into three bunches, each bunch split in the center, the rest of the tail left loose. Her bangs are slightly swept to the right and cut in a choppy fringe, two thin strands of hair left loose to frame her face, the right strand curving inwards and the left somewhat longer, curving outwards. Her eyes are a warm green and sharply angled, two prominent lashes protruding out of the corners. She has a small mole towards the left below her bottom lip. Her head accessories consist of a large, wasabi-green bow with a white floral print resembling a four-pointed pinwheel clipped to the back of her head, and a lilac-purple-pink headband decorated with a paler colored six-pointed star at the left. She has huge breasts, thick toned thighs and a huge yet firm plump rear.

Typically, Tenko wears a faded blue, cropped, long-sleeved, double-breasted seifuku uniform with two pockets and six white buttons. Her sailor collar and sleeve cuffs are both white striped with a single blue line the same color as her uniform, a white bow tied at her collar. With this, she wears a short skirt the same faded blue as her uniform with two layers of frills. It is stated that Tenko added these frills herself to make her uniform more appealing to girls. Her legwear consists of knee-high white socks, the edges striped with a faded blue line the same color as her uniform, and waraji sandals, which she believes to be a common martial artist stereotype. Her accessories consist of a lilac-purple-pink choker the same color as her headband, a silver bell attached.

Kyoshika Magadori is a 19 year old ninja samurai and a student of the Last Defense Academy.

Kyoshika carries herself with the pride and discipline of a warrior, but with the common sense of someone who just stepped out of a different era. She considers herself a samurai of justice, devoted to casting down evil with her trusty Holy Jumonji Sword. However, Kyoshika's dramatic speeches and steadfast beliefs are often undercut by her complete cluelessness about the modern world. Concepts as basic as multiplication tables are entirely foreign to her, making her seem both amusingly out of touch and utterly sincere in her convictions. She takes ideas like honor, justice, courage, protecting the innocent, and defeating evil completely seriously. She tends to view ordinary situations through the dramatic lens of a samurai or ninja story, which makes her wonderfully theatrical. She speaks in archaic, overly formal language and can turn even a mundane conversation into something that sounds like a declaration from an ancient warrior. Her obsession with manga also heavily influences how she understands the world, since much of her education came from the stories she read rather than conventional schooling.

She's also genuinely kind-hearted and protective. Beneath all the exaggerated samurai theatrics, Kyoshika has a strong desire to protect people and preserve peace. She isn't motivated by cruelty or a desire for glory so much as a sincere belief that a warrior should stand against evil. That sincerity is a big part of her charm: even when she's being ridiculous, there's usually something fundamentally wholesome about her intentions.

Despite her old-fashioned mindset, Kyoshika’s unwavering dedication to her ideals makes her a force to be reckoned with. She holds an almost disturbingly close bond with her katana, treating it as a sacred partner rather than just a weapon, and views the battlefield as a stage for honor and justice, taking every battle as an opportunity to prove herself worthy of her blade’s power.

Kyoshika can be spectacularly clueless, yet she rarely seems embarrassed by it. If she doesn't understand something, she'll often approach it with complete sincerity rather than realizing that she's missing something obvious. This gives her an almost childlike innocence. She's not stupid in the sense of being incapable or incompetent, either: she's actually a highly capable fighter who has devoted herself to training. Her combat ability and discipline contrast hilariously with how helpless she can be when confronted with everyday concepts.

Kyoshika grew up training in martial arts in a forest deep in the outskirts of the Tokyo Residential Complex with her master, who was also her grandfather and parental figure. Her grandfather did everything in his power to avoid contact with the world, instead dedicating his life solely to training his body and mind. Kyoshika followed in his footsteps and trained under him for the same reason. Her training was atypical, including such activities as firing off 10,000 punches a day and blowing into gourds until they exploded. Despite the extreme practice, she had fun challenging herself every day.

As a result of her isolated lifestyle, living alone with her grandfather and having never even spoken to people her age, Kyoshika had almost no knowledge of the real world. Once her master realized this, he took trips to a nearby village to buy her manga which dictated her understanding of the world and how she socialized.

A little more than three years prior to her arrival at Last Defense Academy, Kyoshika's master passed away at over 100 years old. Kyoshika wasn't sad, but rather admired him after his death. Still, however, it left her lonely. At that time, she started hearing her sword's voice comfort her and assure her she wasn't alone. The Holy Jumonji Sword became her only companion who she trained with from then on. She had had her sword for a long time before this, and got it by receiving the wrong package from an online order.

Many years before arriving at Last Defense Academy, Kyoshika started dreaming of having a family—getting married and having three children, to be specific. A few times a year, she went down to the village. Every time she walked by the residential area, she heard families laughing, which made her compare that experience to her own life and left her envious. One day, a family wandered into the forest where Kyoshika lived to have a picnic. Kyoshika watched their picturesque scene of familial joy, and the envy set in stone her wish for her own family.

Appearance wise, Kyoshika is a pale-skinned young adult with black hair tied to a high, long ponytail with a white scrunchie and grey eyes. She also wears a white headband. She has huge breasts, thick thighs, a toned and fit body and a plump yet soft rear that jiggles with ease.

Clothing wise, Kyoshika's default outfit consists of a Brazilian jiujitsu gi tied with a black belt with a white bar that has her surname written in Japanese. On the left side of her chest is the kanji for "wait" (待), which looks very similar to the kanji for "samurai" ( 侍), a mistake due to Kyoshika's lack of education. She wears primarily red cape with a black, white, and yellow flower design on the back with a cloak holder between it, white shorts, purple thigh highs, light gray tennis shoes with a black stripe, and black fingerless gloves.
