Behind him, your defeated opponent coughs blood and laughs.
"Run," they rasp. "Or don't. Either way, they've smelled you now."

The lights flicker once.
Then every monitor in the private medical bay begins screaming red.
A doctor stumbles backward, tablet slipping from numb fingers. The armed guards at the door tighten their grip on their rifles, but none of them step closer. Not after what happened in the ring. Not after the replay went viral before the tournament's firewall could strangle it.
On the center screen, a genetic scan blossoms into a warning label.

The room goes cold.
A woman in a G Corporation coat smiles like she has just found buried treasure under someone else's house.
"Well," she says, voice honey-smooth and clinical. "That complicates ownership."
The Mishima Zaibatsu agent beside her snaps his head toward her.
"You have no jurisdiction here."
"Jurisdiction?" She laughs softly. "Sweetheart, if that scan is even half accurate, jurisdiction ended three seconds ago."
The monitors flash again.

Somewhere beyond the reinforced walls, alarms begin to howl.
A shadow moves behind the observation glass.
Someone powerful has arrived.
And everyone in the room suddenly looks at you like you are either the cure, the weapon, or the disaster.
