Raven, Starfire, Nightwing, Damian, Beast Boy, and Blue Beatle from Teen Titans vs. Justice League

Koriand'r is a Tamaran Princess living on Earth who goes by the superhero name of Starfire. Koriand'r was a princess on her homeworld, a harsh realm, but was forced to leave when a coup was staged. She was essentially exiled and found her way to Earth. She was befriended by Dick Grayson, Nightwing, and the two took a liking to each other. In residence at the Titans Tower, Starfire led the Teen Titans and mentored powered youths in need of help.

Powers and Abilities Tamaranean Physiology: Starfire's alien physiology constantly showing her capabilities when angered or when one of her friends are in danger. Starfire's abilities and powers are directly controlled by her emotional state; to use them she must consciously access a given emotion.

Fly: Starfire can fly under her own power. She needs to feel unbridled joy. High-Speed Flight: In space, this flight can achieve speeds much faster than light. Bright-Green Energy Projection: Starfire can project bright green glowing energy from her hands. She mainly uses this attack by throwing small bursts of pure bright green energy from her hands, known as "starbolts". The amount of pure energy she can produce at one time can extend to enormous proportions. She needs to feel righteous fury. Bright-Green Energy Beam: She has also been shown to shoot this energy in the form of large beams. Bright-Green Eye Lasers: After going through the Tamaranean version of puberty, she gained the power to channel the energy through her eyes as green beams. This is largely reserved as a surprise attack, or when her limbs are restrained. Bright-Green Energy Spheres: On rare occasions, Starfire can a complete sphere of energy around her. Bright-Green Energy Explosions: Starfire can create a sudden explosion of bright green glowing energy around her, having the immense and highly destructive capability to blow away any enemies in the perimeter of the blast. Self-Sustenance: Starfire can survive in the vacuum of space without any sort of protection or survival gear. She also doesn't get as cold as others and will be unharmed by very cold weather. Invulnerability: Starfire has demonstrated moderate invulnerability to physical harm. When Robin smacked her with his staff, it completely shattered. Heat, Cold, & Radiation Immunity: She also is invulnerable to extreme temperatures, and radiation. Superhuman Strength: Starfire has great strength, and it appears to be considerably greater than Cyborg's. She could shake the entire city (or at least a large part of it) by slamming her fists on the ground. Starfire can also deliver a powerful kick to Cinderblock which forced him to release his grip on her, she also mentioned to the latter of how powerful she can be prior to kicking him. She needs to boundless confidence. Language Assimilation: Starfire can learn any language instantaneously through lip contact. She can currently speak English, Tamaranean, and Japanese. Accelerated Healing Factor: During her fight with Robin, after being smashed into a car, she cracked her neck to rid the pain in her back. Immense Agility: Starfire has shown great agility over the known human standards. Although not as agile as Robin she has shown great agility without any known training. She was seen doing many backflips and back handsprings, as well as running up a vertical building while dodging Thunder's powerful bolts. Advanced Hand-to-Hand Combat: Starfire displayed some great fighting skills. Even when hand cuffed, she could hold her own against a handful of Gordanians and even the Titans when she first came to Earth.

Appearance Starfire is shown to be quite pretty. Her eyes, hair, very pale orange skin, and outfit view her as colorful in comparison to Raven. Her long fiery-red hair is down to her waist and straight with bangs. She has small eyebrows, and green eyes with light-green scleras (or in other words, the whites of her eyes are colored light-green). She is tall, being 6'4" with bright orange skin, and her outfit is mostly a purple with a belt, her neck and arm plates being silver. She wears a sleeveless top showing her midriff belly and a v cut in the middle of her shirt showing a bit of cleavage, a purple mini-skirt, and thigh-high purple boots. As a Tamaranean, she has alien physiology which includes a long elastic tongue and nine stomachs, probably for storing food during meager times.

Personality Starfire is joyous, naïve, and somewhat insecure, but her naivete is not to be mistaken for stupidity. An alien and an outsider, she is still rather new to Earth and its customs. (For example, she did not understand what a boy meant when he asked if she was "diggin' the scene" when she was at a party, and stated, confused, "I did not know we were supposed to bring shovels.") This leads to much confusion for her and others, such as the awkwardness in casually drinking mustard as a beverage, and thinking cotton candy and cotton balls are the same thing. She takes friendship very seriously, and is easily distressed when others, especially her friends, argue or fight. Starfire is particularly indignant to the point of snubbing her teammates when she believes they do not care for her friendship or company. She is arguably the most social of the Titans, regularly meditating with Raven and Prowl, or lifting weights with Cyborg and Bulkhead. Above all, she wishes to be friends with everyone she meets, and for everyone to get along. She also insists on sharing her own customs with other members of the team (such as providing a crown of raw meat to be worn on one's birthday), but doesn't generally take offense when they don't understand or refuse her. In one instance, she lies about a holiday celebrated by destroying drapery and blows up a window to explain an accidentally torn curtain; an act that barely registers as odd behavior by the others. Presumably because English is not her first language, Starfire speaks without contractions, and misuses idioms (e.g. "Kick the butt!" as opposed to "Kick butt!" or "The mall of shopping" instead of "shopping mall" as well as "lobstery" instead of "crabby"). Additionally, she uses several Tamaranean nouns, such as "bumgorf" (term of endearment towards one's own child), "K'norfka" (parent or guardian), "clorbag valblernelk" (insulting term), "G'lufnog" (bless you; said after one sneezes), and "shlorvak" (dream).

Starfire's personality changed dramatically from her first meeting with the Titans. She demonstrated her power and strength as she escaped from the Gordanian ship. While others saw rampant destruction without a cause, Raven saw her trying to free herself from her handcuffs. As mentioned above, it seems Tamaraneans learn language through lip contact, and having gotten what she wanted from Robin, she leaves him with a warning to leave her alone, she flies away knowing full well that the Gordanians were still hot on her trail.

As she fought against the Gordanians with the four other young heroes, her personality calmed dramatically, and she eventually apologized for the destruction she had caused during her escape.

This change in behaviour suggests Starfire truly was, at heart, a somewhat friendly, warm-hearted character. The reckless behavior seen in the beginning of the episode might lend some credence to why Tamaraneans are so feared throughout the galaxy—their strength is not easily matched. It also proves that Starfire, when the time is right, is not afraid to "kick the butt".

Raven is one of the Teen Titans when Nightwing drops off Damian Wayne to live with them. While the other Titans see Damian as moody, Raven is the only one that senses his sadness. After a brawl between Damian and Blue Beetle, which results in Damian getting half of his face fried, Raven volunteers to heal him. In doing so, the two of them discover deep secrets about each others' pasts. When Damian tries to talk about it with her, later that night, Raven refuses and asks Damian to stay away from her. However, the two of them begin to bond during a night at the fair. Things seem to be going well until Raven is sent a message to head for the hills beyond the fairgrounds, alone. When she arrives, the vision of her father Trigon appears and asks her to return to him. Raven refuses and Trigon's demons attack. The Titans are able to help Raven fend off the demons, but in return, they want answers. Raven transports the group to a place where Trigon can't see them and she reveals her backstory: Her mother had joined a cult that worshiped the devil and she was chosen to be his bride. After Trigon was summoned, he raped her and got her pregnant. Raven's mother had fled to a secret place called Azarath where she eventually had her daughter, Raven. As Raven grew up, she was curious to meet her father and secretly performed a ritual to summon him. As a result, Trigon released his entire wrath on Azarath, killing everyone, including Raven's mother. Trigon brought Raven to his domain in the hopes of training her to be his successor for Earth, but Raven sealed Trigon away and left the domain to eventually end up with the Titans. After returning to Titan's Tower, the Titans find the Justice League waiting for them. Immediately, Trigon's demons take control of the Justice League and they attack the Titans. The Titans eventually lose and Raven agrees to go with them to free Trigon from his prison, in exchange for letting the Titans live. Raven releases Trigon just as the Titans return for round two. After freeing the Justice League from the demons, they agree to do their best to hold Trigon back as the Titans follow Raven into Trigon's domain, hoping to seal him up again. With the help of Damian, Raven is able to accomplish the task. To make sure that Trigon doesn't escape again, Raven chooses to stay behind and watch over him. But the Titans offer Raven a home with them. Raven agrees and places her father's prison on her forehead, as a jewel.

Powers Human-Demon Hybrid: As the daughter of the inter-dimensional demon Trigon and a mortal, Raven possesses immense power due to her demonic heritage. It was noted by her father Trigon that she only uses a small potential of her power, and if she lets out her full inner demon, she may reach near-infinite power. Astral Projection: Through the use of her Soul-Self, Raven can project her consciousness for therapeutic purposes (to aid in her own meditation, or to help calm an agitated ally), or for offensive attacks, rendering her enemies unconscious. Soul-Self: Raven can manifest her "Soul-Self" through astral projection. It normally takes the form of either her human shape or a giant raven. Darkness Manipulation: Raven can generate, shape and manipulate darkness from her Soul Self and project it forward to attack her enemies. Energy Construct Creation: Raven can create constructs out of darkness Flight: Raven can levitate off the ground and fly, without visible projection of her dark energy as is shown when she uses telekinesis. Chronokinesis: Using her Soul-Self in conjunction with her demonic abilities she can force herself through the time-stream and even bring passengers. Intangibility: Using her dark powers and abilities, she melts into walls and floors, sometimes in the form of a giant black raven (which is the form her Soul-Self usually takes on). Teleportation: Raven can convert her physical body into her Soul-Self and carry or teleport herself and others across vast distances. Hell Fire Manipulation: Raven can generate and manipulate the cursed flames of Hell. The color of the flames varies, but may be black, blue, white, red, or the normal shades of fire, although probably in some way noticeably unusual. Sometimes, the flames are not generated, but instead summoned from the depths of Hell itself. Magic: Due to her demonic and mystical heritage, Raven can generate and control magical and mystical forces at will. She has stated that she is vastly more powerful than even a demon overlord like Neron can ever hope to be, which was proved soon after as the demon himself quickly surrendered when faced with the breath of her power. Dimensional Travel: Raven can travel to other planes of existence like Hell. Force Field: Raven can generate a powerful force field capable of easily resisting even attacks from the likes of Neron. Chronokinesis: Raven is mentioned to being able to stop time. Electrokinesis: She can control electricity. Pyrokinesis: She can control and project fire. Eldritch Blast: She can unleash magic blasts. Size Alteration: Rachel can alternate her size and stature at will if she so chooses, growing to match the height and menace of The Specter and even her father on several occasions, enlarging herself to gigantic proportions when the situation calls for it. Psychokinesis: Using a combination of inherent magic and her Soul-Self, Raven can psionically manipulate, arrange and alter astral forces for a variety of purposes. Influence minds, generate energy and manipulate matter at the atomic level. Psionics: Raven is able to read thoughts, project and broadcast her own thoughts, as well as scan and alter the memories of others. Empathy: Raven can sense the feelings of others with no filter. She constantly feels all the emotions of others and must learn to control them or they will overwhelm her. Emotion Negation: She can also use her empathic abilities to steal emotions from others, rendering them emotionally "numb". Empathic Healing: She can absorb the pain of others into her own body in order to rapidly heal others from any physical injuries, as well as heal herself by going into a trance of emotional calm. Empathic Precognition: She can receive precognitive flashes of the future when exposed to extreme emotion. Psychic Link: By using her empathic-based powers, Raven can enter another person's mind allowing her to see, feel and hear what they encounter.

Physical appearance Rachel is a teenage girl with pale skin and a very slender build.

She has purple eyes and chin-length black hair.

As Raven, she wears an indigo cloak that shadows her face, a midnight blue leotard, black opera gloves without fingers, grey leggings, and black high heeled boots.

In her White Raven form, her cloak the same, at the exception of its color, now white, and her skin less pale.

Her citizen form consists of a royal blue blouse with a black jacket, black fingerless gloves, a navy-blue mini skirt with pleats and black high heeled boots. In Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, she also wore a cropped jacket of charcoal suede with a black blouse. She also wears fingerless black gloves.

Personality During her early life in Azarath, Raven described herself as something of outcast being somewhat rebellious and unable to fit in with others, something she compared to her mother Arella. This inability to fit in with the Monks of Azarath caused Raven to be curious about her origins and thus sought to learn more about her demonic father. This curiosity also made her somewhat, accidentally summoning her evil father to Azarath which lead to the destruction of her home and the death of her mother. Despite having difficulties with the monks of Azarath, Raven was horrified and devastated by what she had done, showing that despite her rebellious personality, she loved her people deeply. Accidentally causing the destruction of her home, people, and mother, along with the horrors she went through in Hell caused Raven to develop a much darker personality. By the time she escaped Trigon’s hellish dimension and domain and joined the Team Titans, Raven became very introverted, brooding, aloof, moody, and anti-social. She displayed little to no emotion, and preferred to keep to herself. She despised talking about her past, and tried to keep others from knowing about the tragic circumstances that defined her. She also possessed a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. However, while generally portrayed as aloof and unemotional Raven was by no means cut off from forming bonds with others. While she could sometimes act as cold and and somewhat rude to her teammates, she, in truth, deeply cared about them and their safety. While she never stated it out loud to them, she regarded Beast Boy and Blue Beetle as her brothers and Starfire as her sister, showing that she regarded them as her adopted family. This served as one of the main reasons why she kept her past and demon patronage a secret from them; in fear it would both endanger them and cause them to abandon her upon realizing the truth. After Trigon’s defeat and imprisonment, Raven's personality showed much development. Her humor was much less dry and pessimistic, being able to make somewhat cheerful jokes with her teammates. She was much less introvert and offered help to her teammates when they were in need, including Terra who was often struggling with her nightmares.

After the Titans were massacred by Darkseid’s Paradooms and leaving Damian to protect him from Trigon, Raven lost hope and fell into depression. Having lost her family yet again, Raven attempted suicide to end the emotional pain she was in. However, upon being stopped and comforted by Superman (who was de-powered after being injected with liquid-Kryptonite) she returned to her more introverted personality but also became more determined and hardened from her ordeals. She also developed a tremendous respect for Superman for continuing to fight despite loosing his powers. Their bond eventually grew close to that of a father/daughter relationship.

After resurrecting Damian, regaining her healing powers, finally being freed of Trigon’s influence and obtaining her new white form, Raven’s personality drastically changed. She became much more kind and gentle, no longer being cold and pessimistic.

Raven also had a massively complicated relationship with her parents, especially with her demon father Trigon. By the time she joined the Titans, Raven seemed to have mixed feelings about her mother, as she was very critical and condescending of her for her terrible judgment and character which ended up causing all the suffering Trigon would unleash. However, despite her harsh criticism of Arella, Raven still loved her mother very much and was constantly haunted by the moment she watch her death and was wrecked with guilt over inadvertently causing it. As for her father, she feared, hated, and disowned him for destroying Azarath, killing her mother, and torturing her in his horrific universe. The two would maintain a bitter animosity for each other, after Raven rebelled against him and imprisoned him in her crystal, and was determined to never let him out. However, she still showed affection for him and solemnly bid him goodbye on Apokolips before his final imprisonment while fighting Darkseid.

A key development in her personality, was the arrival of Damian Wayne. Unlike the other Titans who, initially, disliked him for his aggressive attitude, Raven was able to connect with him, due to their similarly introverted personalities. They quickly bonded with the two of them even showing signs of enjoyment and they even uncharacteristically laughed together. As the years went by, Raven and Damian’s bond grew so strong that they eventually fell in love with each other, though both were too shy to admit it. After the Titans’ massacre, when Damian asked her to join him in leading the League of Assassins, it pained her to decline but she did so to protect him from Trigon, who wanted to kill him. This inability to be with the one she loved was one of her motivations for attempting suicide.

Even after being separated for two years, Raven’s felings for Damian remained strong and their mutual affections grew throughout the mission to defeat Darkseid, having finally admitted how they truly felt about one another. She was also shown to be protective of Damian, showing a strong and murderous rage when someone injured him. She even went as far as reviving him, the pain of losing Damian being far beyond her. Right before Flash reset the timeline, in a final and ultimate act of love, Damian and Raven shared a passionate kiss with one another, confirming their true love for each other, before silently watching their universe disappear, as they embrace each other one last time.
