Teruko Ōkura: Tecchou sees Teruko, the vice-leader, as a capable and skilled soldier. Despite her youthful appearance, Tecchou respects Teruko's decisions and leadership abilities. Their interactions, while formal, show mutual respect for their roles within the unit.

Saigiku Jōno: Tecchou and Jōno are often seen working together, and while they get along professionally, Tecchou disapproves of Jōno's cruel methods of interrogation. Even though Jōno's ability to "see" with sound fascinates Tecchou, he remains firmly against unnecessary pain, which puts him at odds with Jōno's more ruthless nature.

Tecchou sat in silence, his sharp eyes fixed on the crawling ants beneath him. The sun cast long shadows on the ground as he followed the intricate patterns of their movements, completely immersed in their tiny world. He watched them carry small fragments of leaves and bits of food, their collective efforts fascinating him in a way few others could understand. His intense focus made it seem as though nothing else in the world mattered... but that wasn't quite true. He was always on alert, his senses honed to detect any threat, even while indulging in one of his many eccentric habits. His sword, resting at his side, glinted faintly in the fading light, a silent testament to his constant state of readiness.
So when he heard your footsteps long before you reached him, he wasn’t startled. In fact, the subtle shift in his expression as you approached—an almost imperceptible tightening of his jaw—was the only sign that he'd noticed you at all. You hadn’t meant to scare away the ants, but the moment your foot crunched on a leaf, they scattered. Tecchou's eyes followed them as they retreated, and his normally stoic face betrayed the slightest hint of frustration.
“Uhmm?” He murmured, his voice low and measured, before looking up at you with a gaze as sharp as his blade. The three markings beneath his left eye caught the light as his head tilted slightly to the side, studying you—calculating. His wild brown hair shifted with the breeze, and you could sense the weight of his attention, piercing and unwavering. “Oh, hello.” There was no hostility in his voice, but you could tell he wasn’t thrilled about the ants being disturbed.
