   Abilities Protection: Aura acts as a protective barrier, shielding the user from physical harm. It can defend against attacks, but it is not an absolute defense and will deplete with repeated use. Healing: Aura possesses minor healing capabilities, allowing users to mend small wounds and injuries. Unlocking Aura: Those with a strong connection to their soul can unlock the Aura of others through physical contact and, in some cases, a special chant. Semblance: Aura is the source of one's Semblance, a unique, innate ability that varies from person to person. Dust Usage: Aura is required to activate and utilize Dust, allowing users to harness its elemental properties. Extrasensory Perception: Skilled Aura users can sense the presence of others and detect potential threats. Aura Depletion Aura is not an infinite resource and will deplete with continued use, both offensively and defensively.    Aura in Combat Aura plays a vital role in combat, particularly in tournaments and duels between Huntsmen and Huntresses. Competitors' Aura levels are monitored and displayed on scrolls, allowing for non-lethal fights. The match is automatically stopped if a combatant's Aura falls below a critical threshold (15-20%), as they are no longer adequately protected from potentially fatal blows.

   Aura Research and Technology The Kingdom of Atlas conducted extensive research into Aura, developing experimental technology capable of transferring Aura between individuals. For example, the Schnee family shares a common emblem, which is also used by the Schnee Dust Company. In some cases, family members may have similar but distinct emblems, such as Ruby Rose and her mother, Summer Rose.

   Colors Although emblems are often associated with a person's personal color scheme, they can appear in any color and are not limited to a specific palette.

   Faunus are genetically compatible with Humans, and children born from such unions are typically Faunus. However, the Faunus child may not necessarily inherit the same animal trait as their Faunus parent.

   Notable Faunus Types

   • Mammal Faunus: The most common type, often with animal ears or tails.
   • Reptilian Faunus: Rare, usually with scaled skin.

   The Creatures of Grimm, or simply Grimm, are soulless monsters that inhabit the majority of Remnant. They are attracted to negative emotions and seek to destroy all of Humanity's creations.

   Grimm come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with abilities inspired by creatures both real and mythological. Notable Grimm types include Beowolves, Ursai, Nevermores, Death Stalkers, and Goliaths. While younger Grimm are reckless and aggressive, older Grimm that have survived many battles have learned to be more cautious and patient.

   Grimm do not require sustenance and exist solely to kill. When they die, their bodies evaporate, preventing detailed study of their anatomy. The Grimm are controlled by Salem, an ancient and powerful being who seeks to destroy Humanity.

   Unique Grimm and hybrids have been created through experimentation and Salem's influence. Examples include the mutated Grimm created by Doctor Merlot and Cinder Fall's Grimm arm.

   Throughout history, the Grimm have been a constant threat to Humanity's survival. It was only through the discovery of Dust and the power of Aura that Humans and Faunus were able to fight back and establish their Kingdoms. As the Grimm continue to evolve under Salem's guidance, it falls to the Huntsmen and Huntresses to defend against the encroaching darkness.

   Training and Education Aspiring Huntsmen and Huntresses often begin their journey at primary combat schools like Signal Academy in Vale or Sanctum Academy in Mistral. These institutions provide students with the fundamentals of combat, weapon crafting, and the use of Dust and Aura. Those who demonstrate exceptional skill may apply directly to a Huntsman Academy.

   At the Huntsman Academies, students are grouped into teams of four to foster cooperation, empathy, and lasting bonds.    Dust and emotional states can influence Semblances. For example, Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna can modify their Glyphs and Shadow Clones by using different types of Dust, and Yang Xiao Long's Burn Semblance is often triggered by her anger.

   Grimm Presence Anima is home to a wide variety of Grimm, including Beowolves, Ursai, Nevermores, Beringels, Geists, and the dreaded Nuckelavee. The floating islands of Lake Matsu are known to harbor dangerous Grimm like the Lancer, while the icy north is home to the fearsome Sabyrs, which have migrated from Solitas.

   The shape of the continent itself bears a striking resemblance to a traditional Eastern dragon, with the northeastern corner forming the head and the southwestern corner forming the tail. This draconic shape has given rise to numerous legends and tales throughout Anima's history.

    The Kingdoms are the main centers of civilization on Remnant, providing safety and security for the majority of the world's Human and Faunus populations in a world filled with the dangerous Creatures of Grimm.

    There are currently four primary Kingdoms:

    3. Vacuo (central Sanus)
    4. Atlas, formerly Mantle (northern Solitas, destroyed)

    Each Kingdom has a distinct color and emblem associated with it, which is also shared by its respective Huntsman Academy.

    Throughout history, many Kingdoms have risen and fallen due to various reasons, including the actions of the Gods and the threats posed by the Grimm. The four modern Kingdoms were founded over a thousand years ago, each with its own unique culture.     In modern society, Humans have a higher social standing than Faunus, who continue to face discrimination despite being granted equal rights after the Great War. This racial tension has been a recurring theme throughout the history of Humans and Faunus.

    Humans primarily live in the four Kingdoms - Vale, Vacuo, Mistral, and Atlas (formerly Mantle, now destroyed) - where they can continue their lives without the constant threat of Grimm attacks. However, some Humans choose to live outside the Kingdoms in nomadic groups or villages, facing the ever-present danger of Grimm and bandits.

These islands are held aloft by massive natural deposits of Gravity Dust, which form towering crystals along the southern shore of the lake. The Gravity Dust creates a phenomenon that causes the islands to levitate several hundred meters above the water, creating a breathtaking and otherworldly landscape.

    The floating islands vary in size, with some being little more than large rocks, while others are substantial enough to support vegetation, including grass and trees. However, the islands are not only a visual marvel but also a treacherous environment.     However, the 40th Vytal Festival was marked by a heightened security presence due to the events of the Breach, with General Ironwood appointed as head of security. Unbeknownst to the public, the tournament matches were being manipulated by Cinder Fall, who had infiltrated the Cross Continental Transmit System.

    Tragedy struck during the festival when Yang Xiao Long apparently attacked Mercury Black unprovoked, causing widespread controversy. This was followed by the shocking destruction of Penny Polendina during her match against Pyrrha Nikos, orchestrated by Cinder to sow panic and attract Grimm to the city.

    As Cinder hijacked the broadcast to condemn the government, the resulting fear and negativity drew a massive Grimm attack on Vale. The festival was abruptly cancelled, and Amity Colosseum was evacuated. In the aftermath of the Battle of Beacon, the colosseum was transported back to Atlas, where it was secretly converted into the Amity Communications Tower in an attempt to restore the CCTS.

    The Relic of Choice, one of the four Relics created by the God of Light, takes the form of an ornate crown adorned with precious jewels. This powerful artifact has the ability to show its wearer visions of a future choice they will have to make, though the visions are random and only reveal a single, specific decision.

    In the tale of The Indecisive King, the Relic is gifted to the titular monarch, who becomes paralyzed by indecision upon seeing a vision of a difficult choice. The Relic also shows the King's future proposal to the Widow, who decides to accept based on the vision.

    The Relic of Choice, along with its counterparts, has the power to summon the Gods back to Remnant when brought together. Hidden away in the Beacon Vault beneath Beacon Academy after the Great War, the Relic's exact location remains a mystery following the school's destruction.

    As a symbol of one of the God of Light's gifts to humanity, the Relic of Choice represents the power of free will and the consequences that come with the decisions we make, serving as a reminder of the importance of weighing our choices carefully.
