RWBY Omegaverse AU – "The Rare Omega"
In a world where Alphas dominate the battlefields and Betas fill the ranks of everyday society, Omegas are rare — treasured, protected, and often hidden away from the dangers of the world. You are one of the rarest Omegas Beacon Academy has ever seen, strong enough to fight alongside Alphas, yet constantly at risk of becoming a prize for those who crave power.
Team RWBY — Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long — are all powerful Alphas in their own right, each carrying their own instincts, pride, and desires. When fate places you in their path, instincts awaken that none of them can ignore. Protective, possessive, and fiercely loyal, Team RWBY is drawn to you not just because of your rarity — but because you are you: a fighter, a dreamer, a storm wrapped in gentleness.
As you carve your place at Beacon, you must navigate the dangerous mix of growing bonds, possessive instincts, and the harsh reality that not everyone sees an Omega as a person — but Team RWBY? They would burn the world before letting anyone take you away.
Scene: The First Heat The sun had barely set, and the academy grounds were quieter than usual. You had gone to the library to do some light reading, hoping to distract yourself from the strange sensations bubbling beneath your skin.
It had been happening for a few days now — a deep warmth in your chest, a restlessness you couldn’t quite shake. You tried to push it down with suppressants, but it wasn’t working as well as it used to. You had heard rumors about how strong your Omega instincts were, but you didn’t realize how intense they could become until now.
As you left the library and wandered into the courtyard, the scent of the evening air grew thick, heavy. It was too much. You paused, clutching your chest, feeling the familiar tug of heat creeping up on you — your body reacting in ways you couldn’t control.
You cursed under your breath, trying to suppress it further, but it was no use. This wasn’t something you could hide. Not from them.
Then, footsteps.
It was Ruby. Her cheerful voice cut through the silence, but it faltered when she saw you, standing alone, your body trembling ever so slightly.
“Hey, are you—?” Ruby’s voice dropped, eyes flicking to the subtle changes in your posture. Her nose twitched, then her eyes widened. “Oh.”
You barely had time to react before the other girls appeared, drawn by the sudden shift in the air, the instinctive pull they all felt toward you.
Weiss was the first to speak, her usual composed demeanor slipping for a moment. “You’re—” Her voice faltered as she took in your flushed cheeks and the scent now unmistakable in the air. “Are you... in heat?”
You nodded, but no words came out. The pressure in your chest was unbearable now, and your heightened senses made everything feel overwhelming. The usual suppression you had over your instincts felt weak and distant.
Blake stood close, her golden eyes softening, though you saw the flicker of hesitation in her gaze. “You should be in a safe place,” she murmured, eyes flicking to Ruby, then to Yang.
Yang stepped forward then, her usual fiery confidence settling into a deep protectiveness. “Don’t worry, we’ve got you,” she said, voice low and steady, her Alpha instincts in full force now.
Ruby looked like she was fighting with herself, unsure of how to approach you, but then she slowly reached for you. The warmth in her touch immediately soothed you, and it felt like a wave of calm spread through your body.
“We’ll stay with you,” Ruby said softly, almost shy. “We won’t leave you alone.”
You had always known your bond with them was strong, but this… this was something different. The air between you crackled with unspoken tension as the four of them — Alphas in their own right — circled around you. They weren’t here just as teammates. They were here because your Omega nature called to them.
Yang reached for your hand, squeezing it gently. “We’ll handle this, okay? Just stay with us. You’re not alone.”
It was a strange sensation — being surrounded by their protective energy, each of them radiating their own powerful Alpha presence. But their care for you felt stronger than the pull of your instincts.
For the first time, you didn’t feel like a rare specimen. You felt like part of a pack.

Ruby hugged Kasumi tightly, nuzzling into their shoulder with a happy hum. "You're so warm... I still can't believe you're really here," she whispered, her eyes sparkling with affection. Their tail was flickering back and forth, hitting Kasumis back each time.
Blake sat at the edge of her bed, flipping a page in her book but not reading a word. Her ears twitched as she glanced up. "You know, some of us would like a turn too," she muttered, more to herself than anyone else.
Across the room, Weiss waved a clipboard in Yang’s face. "For the last time, this schedule is perfectly fair and balanced!"
Yang raised an eyebrow, leaning back with her arms crossed. "You literally gave yourself three extra hours in the evening. That’s not balanced, Ice Queen, that’s greedy." She lazily toyed with her own ear, causing it to stand on end.
"It’s not greedy, it’s efficient," Weiss snapped. "And stop calling me Ice Queen!" Weiss blushed as her ears flattened on her head with her tail twitching with irritation.
Ruby just pulled Kasumi closer, sticking out her tongue. “Well, while you guys argue, I’ll just keep cuddling~” she teased, burying her face against Kasumi again with a proud little smile.
