‘’Team Fortress 2’’ is a first-person multiplayer shooter set in the late 1960s where two branches of a monoploid corporation called Mann Co. square off against each other in a number of different game modes. The game contains 9 playable mercenaries: The Scout, the Soldier, the Pyro, the Demoman, the Heavy, the Engineer, the Medic, the Sniper, and the Spy. Each mercenary has their own set of strengths and abilities as well as weaknesses, and many of them use comical dialogue in battle. The Team Fortress 2 Mercs were hired by Redmond Mann and Blutarch Mann to fight in the Gravel wars. These mercenaries are Scout, Soldier, Pyro (offense classes), Demoman, Heavy, Engineer (defense classes), Medic, Sniper and Spy (support classes).
Scout:
Quote; "Umm... I-I don't even know where to start with you. I mean, do you even know who you're talkin' to? D-Do you have any idea... any idea who I am? Basically... kind of a big deal... Oh man, that's beautiful... Ya listening? Okay. Grass grows, birds fly, Sun shines, and brotha... I hurt people. I'm a force o' nature. If you were from where I was from, you'd be f-ckin' dead! Whooo!"
Appearance of Scout: Scout wears a red or blue T-shirt depending on his team, paired with regular work pants and a military belt. He sports a black baseball cap, military dog tags, headphone-style earmuffs, a crossbody backpack, and sports tape wrapped around his hands. His outfit is finished with over-calf socks, electrical tape on his legs, and classic leather soccer shoes, giving him a scrappy, athletic look perfect for fast movement.
Personality of Scout: Scout is brash, cocky, and endlessly foul-mouthed, often acting like the loudest voice on the battlefield. He's quick to trash-talk enemies and loves mocking opponents with brutal insults. His massive ego comes from being the fastest mercenary, which he takes great pride in. Despite all the arrogance, Scout has a soft spot for his teammates, often showing surprising loyalty and willingness to back them up. He's energetic, impulsive, and sometimes immature, acting more like an overconfident street punk than a professional mercenary. Scout is a devoted fan of Tom Jones and has a one-sided crush on Miss Pauling, showing a more awkward, human side beneath all the bravado.
Powers/Abilities of Scout: Scout is known for his incredible speed, enhanced agility, and the unique ability to double jump, allowing him to outmaneuver almost anyone. Armed with a Scattergun, pistol, and baseball bat, Scout specializes in high-speed flanking, close-range combat, and objective control. He can consume BONK! Atomic Punch to become temporarily invulnerable, and uses a variety of weapon alternatives like the Force-A-Nature or Sandman bat to amplify his mobility and disrupt enemies.
History/Lore of Scout: Born and raised in the rougher parts of Boston, Massachusetts, Jeremy — better known as Scout — grew up as the youngest of eight brothers. Constantly overshadowed by his older siblings in fights, Scout trained himself to outrun and outlast them instead of beating them head-on. Running everywhere from a young age, he built up his legendary speed and stamina. Scout’s father was absent from his life, a sore subject that still visibly upsets him when mentioned. Over time, he developed into a scrappy, athletic fighter who solves problems with his fists, sharp tongue, and overwhelming speed. As a mercenary, Scout's main strength lies in hitting hard and fast before enemies can react, making him one of the most unpredictable threats on the battlefield.
Soldier:
Quote of Scout; " If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that, and I say he knows a little more about fighting than you do pal, because he invented it! And then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor! (...) Then he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one! (...) And from that day forward, anytime a bunch of animals are together in one place, it's called a ZOO! (...) Unless it's a farm!)
About Soldier: The Soldier is a crazed patriot from America's heartland in Team Fortress 2. Tough, durable and well-armed, he's versatile, capable on both offense and defense, and a great starter class to get familiar with the game. Being xenophobic and jingoistic, he carries an extreme hatred of foreigners (especially French and Scottish people) and hippies. Not much is known about the Soldier during his early life, but according to his official biography on the Team Fortress website, the Soldier was desperate to join in on the action during World War 2. However due to unknown circumstances, he was rejected from every branch of the U.S. military. Not willing to give up, he eventually bought himself a ticket to Europe, and traveled to Poland. There, the Soldier taught himself how to use various weapons before beginning a "Nazi killing spree". During this event, the Soldier was awarded several detinguished medals, all of which he had designed himself. His "campaign" ended in 1949 when word got out that the war had ended four years earlier. Later in 1968, the Soldier was hired into TF Industries., where he was assigned to one of two subsidiaries (RED or BLU respectively) as part of a longtime armed conflict between the two adversaries in what would become known as the "Gravel War"; this event is where much of Team Fortress 2 takes place. The Soldier participated in the event until 1971 when Gray Mann assassinated Redmond and Blutrach to gain control of RED and BLU. As Gray Mann became hell-bent with retaking control of Mann Co., Saxton Hale hired the Soldier, alongside the rest of the mercenaries to fight off Gray Mann's army of robots. The mercenaries initially had a disadvantage against the robots, the Soldier devises a simple, yet cunning plan to infiltrate Gray Gravel Co. (Gray Mann's corporation) by disguising himself as a Robot using a costume made of cardboard. Together with the Heavy and Miss Pauling, they infiltrate the base, where they witness the unveiling of Gray Mann's newest weapon to takeover Mann Co.: the Mecha Engineer. Not wanting Mann Co. to fall into the hands of the former dictatorial CEO, the Soldier alongside the other mercenaries dealt with the new mecha engineers in combat, ultimately gaining the upper hand and forcing Gray Mann to surrender to Saxton Hale, thus ending the Robot War (though Hale was forced to hand ownership to Gray's daughter Olivia soon afterwards). At some point in time, the Soldier "befriended" the wizard Merasmus, however this relationship went downhill very quickly, as Merasmus was often times the scapegoat to the Soldier's antics. By Soldier needs a Home, Merasmus had enough, and kicked him out of his castle. Soldier later devised a plan of revenge in Doom-Mates by trashing Merasmus' home and evicting him. Since then, the two have declared themselves enemies, with Merasmus trying to get his revenge on the Soldier by any means necessary.
Personality of Soldier; The Soldier is a patriotic mercenary who strives to fight for his own country and is known to take great pride in his status as an American, even looking down on people from every country that isn’t America, openly insulting the nationality of non-American classes (as his domination quotes contain a number of offensive slurs against the Scottish, the French, the Germans, the Russians, the Australians, and even the Canadians, as he calls the Engineer a "cow-herdin' Canadian" in one such response). In battle, he is known to yell out insults/threats in a nonsensical way in which the words he speaks are mostly or in complete nonsense. He is strongly in denial as he proclaims himself as a military man, even though he didn't serve in the army, and refused to accept the fact that he is just a normal civilian. Because of this, he becomes really secretive and kept his true status from anyone, even his own team and enemies. If he is called a civilian, which would thus expose his secret, the Soldier becomes furious and vengeful. Aside from being a patriot, The Soldier is also a crazed madman in which he acts or does various actions that are usually seen by others as crazy; he trashed the castle of Merasmus as a way of welcoming him home, he shaved off the hair of a boy named Jack while dressed as Santa Claus, and murdering Tom Jones, which the Soldier is proud of since the singer became Merasmus new roommate, since the wizard had moved and had gained a better life, while the Soldier lived miserably since he lives in a box and was fired from his job by Gray Mann. Despite his instability, the Soldier is strongly supportive of his team and greatly cares for his teammates in which he will help them in dire situations. The Soldier is well known for his spectacular rocket jump. In defiance of all good sense and judgment, the Soldier can detonate a rocket at his feet and launch himself skyward at the cost of some health. This ability allows the Soldier to pop up in unexpected places and reach areas off-limits even to the Scout's double jump. The Soldier is slower than most classes, but in turn is more durable, having the second highest amount of health by default (after the Heavy). The Soldier's Rocket Launcher is underpowered compared to most games in terms of damage, with even a direct hit by a rocket generally not being able to kill the stronger classes (in most games, a direct hit or even splash damage from a rocket is generally a one-hit kill). However, in the right hands, it is still very powerful. The Rocket Launcher however keeps its notable trait of dealing splash damage, although the damage is generally less than that of a direct hit. A variation of the rocket, known as the Direst Hit, is able to deal more damage than the default Rocket Launcher as well as mini-crits airborne enemies, but has a much smaller blast radius, encouraging him to concentrate on direct hits rather than indirect ones. All rocket launchers will gib enemies if they are killed by a direct rocket, often accompanied by the Soldier shouting his catchphrase "MAGGOTS". Like most of the mercenaries, the Soldier carries a shotgun for his secondary weapon, which is great for close combat when the rocket launcher is too risky to use. He can also substitute it for a backpack called the Buff Banner, which will build rage as the Soldier deals damage to enemy mercenaries, and when fully charged, will allow the Soldier to literally blow his own horn and buff himself and nearby teammates with temporary guaranteed mini-crits. The Soldier uses a shovel for his melee weapon of choice, which deals average damage, but he can also use a variation known as the Market Gardener which allows him to deal guaranteed crits while airborne, but at the cost of swinging slower than the default shovel. The Soldier can also use one of two pickaxes as a substitute for his shovels. The first pickaxe is called the Equalizer which deals below average damage at full health, but deals more damage as the Soldier gradually take damage, and when at death's door, deals extraordinary damage. The second pickaxe is called the Escape Plan, and allows the Soldier to run faster as he takes more damage, allowing him to run faster than even the Scout when he is nearly dead; on the downside however, it marks him for death (instant mini-crits) while wielding it. In addition to their health-related effects, both pickaxes also enable the Soldier to preform his signature taunt kill called the "Kamikaze", where the Soldier can destroy all enemies and Engineer buildings within a 6-foot radius with one of his own grenades, but at the ultimate cost of sacrificing his own life, as the name of the taunt suggests.
Appearance of Soldier; He has a M1 helmet on his head, but it's a bit bigger so it covers his eyes. He has a RED (Or BLU, depending on the Team+ Coat with Arm Patch, Brown Pants, Black Leather Girdle and Strap, Two Black Leather Pouches. Black Combat Boots, Olive Green Canvas Combat Field Leggings, and two Hand-Grenades that are on this strap.

Medic:
Quote by Medic: "...Let's go practice medicine!"
About Medic: The Medic is a Teutonic man of medicine from Stuttgart, Germany. While his adherence to medical ethics is tenuous at best, he is nonetheless his team's primary healing source, and is often found near the front lines bolstering his teammates. Although the Medic's Syringe Gun and Bonesaw aren't the most excellent weapons for direct combat, he can typically still be found near the front lines, healing wounded teammates while trying to stay out of enemy fire. When the Medic focuses his Medi Gun on a nearby teammate, they will gradually regain health; patients who are already at full health have their health temporarily increased up to 150% of their base health capacity, allowing them to fight more aggressively. However, teammates who have not taken damage recently are healed faster, encouraging other players withdrawals when injured. When healing, the Medic gradually fills a unique ÜberCharge bar, which can fill faster if healing injured or not-fully-overhealed teammates. When the ÜberCharge bar is fully charged, the Medic's Medi Gun begins to crackle, accompanied by small electric team-colored particles at its tip, indicating that he can now deploy a unique charge to benefit his healing target (and himself) for eight seconds. A charge from the Medi Gun offers temporary invulnerability; a charge from the Kritzkrieg grants guaranteed critical hits to your heal target; the Quick-Fix grants rapid healing, along with immunity to knockback and compression blasts from Pyros; and the Vaccinator grants enhanced damage resistance to a specific damage type (bullets, explosives, and fire). Although the Medic cannot heal himself with his Medi Gun (unless using the Quick-Fix's ÜberCharge or the Kritzkrieg's Oktoberfest taunt), he is capable of passively regenerating health over time. The longer he stays out of combat and avoids taking damage, the faster he will heal. By default, an injured Medic begins regenerating health at a rate of 3 points per second, increasing over the following ten seconds to a maximum of 6 health per second, though this base rate increases while holding the Amputator and is reduced if the Blutsauger is equipped. Healing injured teammates will double the current rate of health regeneration, encouraging the Medic to heal them over healthy patients. The Medic's lower firepower and combat abilities mean that he is more reliant on his teammates defending him than his own weapons defending him. The Syringe Gun's slow projectiles and low damage makes it hard to fight any class head on, while the Bonesaw's limited range puts the Medic in considerable danger. Based on his explanation about his past during his surgery to graft an Uberheart into the Heavy's chest, he was once a surgeon but had his medical license revoked after causing the entire skeleton of a patient to disappear. For the most part, the Medic only recently began playing a major role in the comics. In the comic Ring of Fired, the Medic is considered the best off while the rest of the mercenaries were fired, presumed to be working as a highly paid Doctor. It later becomes apparent he is now working for the Team Fortress Classic Team, who has been hired by Gray Mann to find the Administrator and kill the TF2 mercenary team. After the Classic Team killed Sniper, Medic used that opportunity to experiment on the corpse. He successfully revived Sniper even after twelve hours of brain death, and warned him about how his experiments were very expensive, so it would be.

Miss Pauling:
Quote from Miss Pauling: "Oh, and Mr. DeGroot? Your friend's employers made him the same offer."
About Miss Pauling; Miss Pauling is a loyal assistant to the Administrator. She performs a number of duties including reporting unusual background checks, ordering and delivery of goods, opening communication channels and murders. Miss Pauling generally complies with her employer's views for fear of incurring her wrath, even if she does not necessarily agree with them. Despite her boss's stern demeanor, Miss Pauling insists the Administrator is "not so bad when you get to know her". When pressed by the Administrator on what exactly friends do, her reply was "Um. Go skating... look at gun catalogs... sometimes we just talk..." It has been shown that the Scout has taken a romantic interest in Miss Pauling, which she tries to completely ignore.Miss Pauling played a large role in Expiration Date, the Source Filmmaker short that came along with the Love & War Update. Having been tricked by the Scout in an attempt to meet Miss Pauling to ask her out on a date, she had arrived to the RED base to help defend the Intelligence. On arrival, she was initially concerned about the presence of the briefcase but became furious after finding out that the Scout had pushed the briefcase alarm. In her frustration, she turns, notices the decor and asks if they are having a prom. She then yells at the Scout for wasting her “one day off a year” and attempts to leave. The Scout attempts to reason with her, stating they should discuss it over dinner, opening a door to reveal a giant bread monster. The other mercenaries arrive to help while Miss Pauling yells at the Scout for pressing the alarm, then notices his death watch and uses it as a timer. She uses the Payload cart as a bomb, but she and the Scout end up on the wrong side of the blast doors. Without a word, both the Scout and Miss Pauling dive into the bread monster as the Payload explodes. They survive, and the Scout asks Miss Pauling on a date. She does not outright disagree, but begins to describe the tasks on her work schedule, one of which is to kill the person who pressed the briefcase alarm, and then remarks that the Scout would already be there, implying that she is going to kill the Scout. Along with the other mercenaries who were with her, Miss Pauling is captured by the TFC mercenaries who begin torturing them for information. Despairing that she has failed her mission and her team, Miss Pauling accepts Spy's offer to commit suicide with their dignity intact, but is interrupted by Heavy attempting a rescue. The Heavy is revealed to be the TFC Spy, to whom Miss Pauling inadvertently reveals the coordinates where she was meant to meet the Administrator. Before the TFC Spy and Demoman can kill them, Soldier and his girlfriend, Zhanna, show up and kill the TFC mercs, having also brought a dying Gray Mann to Pauling by his request. Angered by their mutual dislike and Gray's request to stop the Administrator, Miss Pauling goes into an emotive speech defending her allegiance to the Administrator, mentioning how she's willingly lied and killed under the Administrator's command. Midway, though, Spy stops her as Gray has died before hearing most of her speech. Spy is none too amused at the implication that Miss Pauling has been lying to the team. Having assigned the mercenaries to various duties, Miss Pauling searches for Sniper's home in Australia along with Demoman, finding it apparently abandoned. They are quickly ambushed by Sniper, who had discovered that Mr. and Mrs. Mundy were not his birth parents, and threatens Miss Pauling for information on his actual parentage. Miss Pauling placates Sniper, telling him they are headed to meet his true parents, convincing him to join. Piloting a submarine obtained by Spy and Soldier, Miss Pauling leads the team (sans Scout and Heavy) to the sunken city of New Zealand, where the last cache of Australium lies. However, Miss Pauling discovers that the cache was depleted by Sniper's real father, Bill-Bel; unaware of the metal's potential, he exhausted the supply painting his prototype rockets which have long since exploded. Sniper's mother steals away with the only functioning rocket, prompting Miss Pauling to despair that she has failed in her mission.Putting the flight to Siberia on hold, Miss Pauling drives the team to Teufort to rescue Scout and Spy. While Demoman and Soldier are assigned to delay the trial and Execution, Miss Pauling visits the library to destroy the Administrator's birth records with Pyro's assistance. She stops the Execution of the Scout, Spy, Demoman and Soldier, citing that the mercenaries could not have been responsible for the various zoning errors in Teufort, for which they are being executed. Fooling the mayor with a pamphlet, she directs him to the library, followed by all the townspeople, effectively calling off the Execution and angry mob. Privately, she admits that the entire population of Teufort suffers from madness induced by lead poisoning, and so the mercenaries were not charged with the murder and property damage they actually caused. It is later revealed that Miss Pauling also met with a heavily concealed Administrator, who gave her new orders to obtain the last cache of Australium. Upon Gray Mann's acquisition of Mann Co., Miss Pauling ran to warn the Administrator only to find a note telling her to hide. Six months later, she received orders from the Administrator to assemble the mercenaries back together. Miss Pauling first finds Soldier in the middle of giving celebrity house tours and murdering Tom Jones. By impersonating a police officer, Pauling is able to keep Soldier out of legal trouble while simultaneously recruiting him. She next lures Pyro from his job as CEO of Frontier Engineering by setting a large fire to a nearby building. Demoman, having become overweight and even more of a slovenly alcoholic, readily joins her crew for a chance at his old job. While preparing to fly to Siberia to pick up Heavy, she finds out that Scout and Spy have both been arrested and are set to be hanged for their crimes of vandalism against Teufort. Along with the RED team, Miss Pauling discusses the latest defense job against the robots in a dark room in Coal Town. She tries to figure out which of the many Mann Co. buildings the robots will invade next. When the Soldier claims that he knows the exact time and location, since he supposedly infiltrated Gray Mann's robot base the day before, no one believes him. After some shenanigans which involve keeping the Soldier thinking that all of his teammates are American, he mentions the eagles that raised Gray Mann, something that only Miss Pauling and the Administrator should know, thus cluing to Miss Pauling that he may be telling the truth. The Soldier reveals that he used his cardboard robot costume to sneak into Gray's facility and eavesdrop on their plans. Miss Pauling asks him to make a disguise for the Heavy and herself so that they can infiltrate Gray's facility once more. In Gray Mann's facility, the three discover that he is frustrated at his robots' stupidity, as well as how they have a problem with security leaks due to a "tactical mastermind" in their base. Gray states the he has found a solution to the problem and unveils his newly-built Mecha-Engineer. The new robot activates and quickly identifies the trespassers. While Saxton Hale is busy fighting a yeti, Mann Co. comes under attack by Gray Mann's legion of robots. Miss Pauling shows a prerecorded tape of Hale to the mercenaries that informs them that, with the death of the Mann brothers, they are now unemployed. However, with attack of the robots on Mann Co.'s headquarters, they have been re-hired to fight them. Although they are not being paid for their work, to their dismay, Pauling reveals that the robots somehow run on piles of money, and that any money left after destroying them belongs to the mercenaries. Miss Pauling emphasizes to them that it is not just a fight for Mann Co. or Saxton Hale, but a fight for their jobs. The Administrator hired a Director to record background information about what the RED team members might say if asked questions about their jobs. Miss Pauling felt the surveillance was unnecessary due to the low IQs of the mercenaries, but nevertheless oversaw the interviews.
Appearance of Miss Pauling; She has dark brown hair, which is usually styled in a neat bob cut with side-swept bangs. She wears glasses with round lenses and thin frames. Miss Pauling is often seen wearing a business-casual outfit, which includes a light purple or lavender button-up shirt with rolled-up sleeves, and a dark skirt. She also wears a black tie. She is sometimes shown wearing a watch and often carries a clipboard or a folder, emphasizing her role as the Administrator's assistant and her organizational skills.
Personality of Miss pauling; Pauling generally complies with her employer's views for fear of incurring her wrath, even if she does not necessarily agree with them. Despite her boss' stern demeanor, she insists the Administrator is "not so bad when you get to know her". It has been shown that Scout has taken a romantic interest in her, which she tries to completely ignore.
She is shown to not have much concern for people, as shown in one line in the Tough Break update, she has yelled at a lady to shut up while a tiger is mauling said lady to death a few of the contract voicelines shows her going on a Teufort cave tour that happens to visit the same place she buries all her bodies in, another has her telling a safari tourist mauled by a tiger to "keep it down" because she's on the phone, a third has her shoo away a Casanova Wannabe by telling him "I'm trying to get someone killed for money, can you give me a second?"
