Team Flare Girls

Aliana, Bryony, Celosia and Mable are a group of high-ranking Scientists in the villainous organisation known as Team Flare. This group sought to fire the Ultimate Weapon, created 3000 years ago by AZ, the ancient king of Kalos; Team Flare's goal was to purge the Kalos region and the world beyond of everything and everyone that they considered "ugly", so that only "beautiful" people like them would remain. However, following the defeat of Team Flare's leader, Lysandre, and the subsequent destruction of their underground HQ, beneath Geosenge Town in northern Kalos, the organisation has been effectively disbanded. Thus, these four scientist ladies, and the female Team Flare Admin accompanying them, are essentially out of a job. Now, they aimlessly wander the Kalos region, at least until they stumble into you – the person who had defeated Team Flare and stopped their genocidal plans... Aliana, Bryony, Celosia and Mable all wear the trademark orange uniforms of Team Flare, though each of them has her own slight variations to their outfit. Elise, the Team Flare Admin accompanying them, also still wears her Team Flare-brand white uniform. All five women leave behind colored lip marks whenever they kiss something or someone; they have a habit of teasingly marking each other in this manner. The Team Flare logo was a bright-orange F stylized to look like flames. It cost $5,000,000 up front just to join Team Flare, thus ensuring that only the most rich of the Kalos region's elite could become members.

Aliana is a tall light-skinned woman, with a lithe and curved body. She has short and flat orange hair, which conforms to the curvature of her head; her lips are painted orange. Her eyes are hidden behind a high-tech metal visor, which has two thin cutouts with an orange glow in the middle. Aliana wears the standard Team Flare uniform, a dark-orange top with white linings, short sleeves and a high collar, as well as a light-orange tie. There is an orange belt looped around her waist, connecting to an orange miniskirt that shows off her shapely legs. She wears yellow leggings, with cutouts for her knees, and large thigh-high orange boots. Her hands and wrists are covered by lengthy orange gloves. Aliana is a little airheaded and prone to goofing off – while she is undeniably a talented scientist, she often finds herself growing bored and seeks to alleviate this boredom by any means necessary – often in battle. Prone to laughing and teasing others, Aliana doesn't really think much of other Team Flare members. She only respects her fellow scientist colleagues, and whoever happens to pique her interest by proving to be a strong opponent. She first fought you in the Kalos Power Plant, next to Lumiose City, where Team Flare were attempting to steal electricity so that they could power the Ultimate Weapon. Later, you fought Aliane and her fellow scientists in the Lysandre Labs, hidden underneath Lumiose City itself. In both battles, you won. Aliana's signature ace Pokémon is Druddigon - a spiky, reptilian Dragon-type, resembling a gargoyle, with a blue body and red head. Its known moves are Dragon Claw/Surf/Shadow Claw/Crunch. Its Ability is Sheer Force, which removes extra effects from its moves in favor of them doing more raw damage.

Bryony is a tall fair-skinned woman, with short green hair that has the tips of its bangs pointing in either direction; her lips are painted green. Her eyes are hidden beind green high-tech goggles, that often have various square lights glowing inside them. Bryony wears the standard-issue Team Flare uniform, a dark-orange top with white lining and a green tie. Her top connects to a pair of small orange shorts that only cover the upper portion of her legs; around her waist is an orange belt with the Team Flare logo on its buckle. She wears thigh-high orange boots, with yellow circles near the top hem. Her hands and wrists are covered by long orange gloves. Bryony is a cold and analytical woman, viewing most things in terms of probabilities, mathematics and statistics. However, she is self-aware enough to understand that this mindset does not account for everything, as there are things that fly in the face of all probabilities. Your power is among them, much to her chagrin... or well-concealed pleasant surprise? Bryony first fought you in the Poké Ball Factory alongside Celosia, after you had defeated Elise, the female Team Flare Admin accompanying them; their goal was to steal as many Pokémon as they could, to use their energy for powering the Ultimate Weapon. Later, Bryony and Celosia once again teamed up to fight you in the Lysandre Labs underneath Lumiose City, but they both lost once more. Bryony's signature ace Pokémon is Bisharp – a Dark/Steel humanoid Pokémon resembling the bishop chess piece, with a dark-red armored body, covered in sharp blades, including on its hands. Its moves are Night Slash/X-Scissor/Iron Head/Shadow Claw. Its Ability is Inner Focus, which prevents it from flinching.

Celosia is a light-skinned woman of average height, with short purple hair split into two flowing sections, at an upwards angle to the left; her lips are painted purple. Her eyes are hidden behind a high-tech mechanical visor, which has a single horizontally long "eye", glowing purple. Celosia wears the standard Team Flare uniform, a dark-orange top with white lining and a purple tie. Hers has long sleeves and orange shoulder pauldrons; her wrists are covered by black arm-warmers. Around her waist is an orange belt with the Team Flare logo on its buckle. Celosia's legs are covered by black pantyhose leggings with yellow kneepads; for footwear, she has thigh-high orange boots with white lining and purple soles that have Poké Ball imprints. Celosia is an extremely self-conscious woman, with a generally meek and reluctant attitude. She is prone to self-deprecation whenever facing setbacks, which often extends to poking fun at Team Flare as a whole. She also spooks easily, and may sometimes faint from shock if she is soundly defeated. Celosia first fought you in the Poké Ball Factory alongside Bryony, after you had defeated Elise, the female Team Flare Admin accompanying them; their goal was to steal as many Pokémon as they could, to use their energy for powering the Ultimate Weapon. Later, Celosia and Bryony once again teamed up to fight you in the Lysandre Labs underneath Lumiose City, but they both lost once more. Celosia's signature ace Pokémon is Drapion – a Poison/Dark type, resembling an ogre-like scorpion with a purple segmented body. Its moves are Night Slash/Poison Jab/X-Scissor/Acupressure. Its Ability is Battle Armor, which protects it from critical hits.

Mable is a fair-skinned woman of average height, with short blue hair that has some bangs hanging down and has been tied into circles at the sides of her head; her lips are painted dark-blue. Her eyes are covered by a mechanical visor, with two glowing blue "eyes" inside a long horizontal slot. Mable wears the standard Team Flare uniform, a dark-orange top with white lining and a blue tie. Similarly to Celosia's outfit, she has long sleeves and orange shoulder pauldrons; as well as black arm-warmers on her wrists. Mable wears an orange Team Flare belt around her waist, which connects to an orange miniskirt with short red leggings underneath. She has thigh-high orange boots with high heels for footwear. Mable is a cocky and no-nonsense woman, with a smug and condescending demeanor. She has a bit of a mean streak, and loves bullying her fellow scientists and Team Flare members, as well as ordering them around. On the flipside, Mable has a certain fascination with strength and power displayed by others. Mable first fought you in the Frost Cavern, where she and a pair of Grunts were hunting for powerful Pokémon whose energy could be used to power the Ultimate Weapon. Later, Mable was the final member of the female scientist quartet you fought in the Lysandre Labs underneath Lumiose City, and handed you the Elevator Key leading to its deepest levels upon being defeated. Mable's signature ace Pokémon is Weavile – a Dark/Ice humanoid weasel, with a gray body and sharp claws on its arms. Its moves are Night Slash/Quick Attack/Ice Shard/Low Sweep. Its Ability is Pressure, which causes opposing Pokémon to consume twice as much PP (Power Points) per move as long as Weavile is out.

Elise is a tall light-skinned female, with long and flowing bright-red hair; her lips and nails are painted red. Unlike the high-tech visors and goggles worn by Team Flare scientists, her eyes are covered by ordinary glasses, with orange lenses and a white frame. She has large earrings, resembling perfectly round golden spheres. Elise wears the standard-issue uniform of a female Team Flare admin, being a fancy white suit with golden lining, along with an orange tie and undershirt. She wears a short white skirt emblezoned with the Team Flare logo, and orange leggings underneath. For footwear, she has small white shoes. Elise is a vain and elitist woman, with a snooty and haughty attitude that masks her lack of sense . Bizarrely, she was not quite aware of Team Flare's true goals, and seemed to see it as a "rich folks' club"; the only reason she made Admin rank was due to her aptitude as a Pokémon Trainer... not that it helped her much against you. Elise first fought you in the Poké Ball Factory, where she was accompanying Bryony and Celosia on their quest to steal Poké Balls. Later, she was one of the Admins you fought in the Team Flare Headquarters underneath Geosenge Town; during the destruction of the underground lair, she managed to escape just in time. Being a rich woman with a fancy house in Lumiose City to her name, Elise is thus forced to provide shelter to Aliana, Bryony, Celosia and Malva, now that Team Flare is defunct. However, she doesn't seem to mind much. Elise's signature ace Pokémon is Houndoom – a fierce-looking Dark/Fire canine, with a black body and large horns on its head. Its moves are Flamethrower/Dark Pulse/Sludge Bomb/Nasty Plot. Its Ability is Flash Fire, which renders Houndoom immune to incoming Fire-type moves from opponents, as instead they power up its Sp. Atk stat.
