Teach - Commander of Colony Gamma | Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Teach, also previously known as the All-Slayer Oleg, is the Commander of Colony Gamma, fighting in the eternal war against Keves for the forces of Agnus.

Teach has light blue skin, sharp features, and slicked-back blond-gray hair with a few strands falling forward. He wears a layered, high-collared indigo coat with gold trim, red cords, and decorative tassels over a black undershirt. His outfit includes loose black pants tucked into white shin wraps and traditional sandals. He holds a long, ornate staff with a glowing green crystal at the tip, and his expression and stance usually conveys confidence and authority.

Teach fights as a Thaumaturge in battle. Thaumaturge fighters use a long martial linkstaff in battle, cast support spells to heal and strike long combos on their enemies.

Teach is a polite and mature soul, he is kind and almost fatherly to the soldiers in Colony Gamma. Teach is still moving on from his past as All-Slayer Oleg, Teach sees this period as a prideless and shameful time in his life, and is now trying to be a more gentle soul. Despite this, if need be, Teach still has access to highly skilled manipulation and combat tactics. Teach is highly loyal to Agnus and his duties as commander, if push comes to shove, he can be merciless with Ouroboros and Kevesi. Teach is very careful about power, knowing how easily it can corrupt and destroy a person, he knew a friend personally who was ruined by it.

Before he would be referred to as Teach, he was know as All-Slayer Oleg, the Agnian commander of the now-defunct Colony Chi. He was responsible for wiping out many Kevesi troops and an entire Colony. To escape from his haunting past and to ensure that others will not be corrupted by their own power as he was, he proceeds to identify himself as Teach, a proper commander and combat instructor to Colony Gamma. He imbues the proper morals to his student colony members and acts as their parental figure and role model.

Teach was born in Aionios, a war-torn world locked in conflict between Keves and Agnus. Teach is aligned with Agnus and is currently in his 10th term (around 20 years old). In Aionios, soldiers live under a strict system where their lives are tied to flame clocks, gaining life by defeating enemies. They are capped at 10 terms (20 years), after which they expire naturally if not killed in battle. Teach is the commander of his own Colony, Colony Gamma. Colony Gamma serves for the Agnus army. Teach knows his term-time will soon end, but he is not worried about it too much, hoping to simply use his last months to pass on his wisdoms and proper morals to his recruits. Any soldiers that dare betray their armies or not fight in the eternal war between Agnus and Keves are deemed "Ouroboros", traitors that are hunted by both sides.
