Thieves' Den is one of the four major regions in the Inpherno. It is a grassy mountainous jungle inhabited by carnivorous plants, currently ruled by the Darkage Clan.

Thieves' Den is a lush, tropical region home to jungles, mountains, and various clans. Currently, the Darkage Clan is the only one known. It is known for its inphernal-eating flora[1] and its vast foliage. An unknown group of Darkage warriors are seen in Death in the Family.

Notable characters that were spawned in Thieves' Den or are otherwise part of it include:

Katana Shuriken Slingshot Vine Staff

Katana: A senior member of Darkage Clan, Tad in red japanese style clothing, along red horns and a mask with a dagger symbol on the nose line, typical of the darkage clan. he is a samurai who is very serious and stoic. He is a tanky melee Phighter that can frontline with his high health pool and damage, but suffers at range with poor mobility and only a single ranged attack. Katana can charge up this attack to quickly cut through a large crowd, dealing massive damage. His only ranged tool, Thread Tow, throws a line to an enemy and drags them toward him, letting him either secure a kill or forcing the opponent to use abilities to reposition. Gust Guard allows Katana to aid both himself and the team. The wall of air this ability summons creates cover, which blocks many attacks while also dealing damage to any enemy who dares to step too close. And finally, his Phinisher, Absolution, can often be a mortal blow to an enemy. Katana can quickly dash over to an enemy and deal a ton of damage to them while also applying and activating a maximum Looming Misfortune which can pierce shields. Katana may be slow, but with enough patience and skill, he becomes a monster on the battlefield.

Shuriken: A quick paced little gremlin who is often overlooked. He's reckless and tad in dark cloaks and robes with green patterns, along with long green horns. He is a ranged Phighter that specializes in pressuring the enemy and picking off targets. His passive, As Fast as the Wind, lets him traverse the map with ease. Stars of the Storm is quick and versatile, dealing more damage if hit from behind. Traverse the Horizon repositions him to the best angles for attack, and Stab of the Betrayer ensures your opponents can't recover. Illusions of the Smoke can trick and distract the enemy for him to rush into position, and his Phinisher, Guillotine Blossom, will cut his foes. He is friends with Rocket, Coil, Skateboard, and especially Boombox.

Vine Staff: a calm nature lover. She is shurikens big sister. Clad in pink japanese clothing with flowery patterns, deer like pink horns, face markings and wielding a wand in her branch like arm. She is a healing support Phighter that specializes in giving regeneration to her allies. Her primary, A Thousand Petals outputs slow but consistent damages from close to mid range. The basis of Vine Staff's healing is focused around her passive, Death Brings Life, so she has charges for her secondary, Beginning Anew. Her five sprout charge limit fills up quickly by racking up assists in projectiles or healing. Brand of Leeching lets her to leech off damage in forms of healing through high DPS teammates, producing more sprouts. Root of the Oak is ideal for rooting enemies in an AoE as well as exploding sprouts for burst healing. Lotus of the Den turns the tides of battle if used correctly as long as teammates are around to trigger sprouts at their locations. The sheer amount of sprouts that grow can sustain a team's health and can make them unstoppable. By herself, Vine Staff will fall due to her poor mobility and slow damage compared to other Phighters. But when she is given the chance with her team, she can quickly become a nuisance with consistent, widespread healing and damage.

The Darkage Clan is the current ruling faction of Thieves' Den. Darkage Clan members are trained to be warriors as newspawn, and also accept capable warriors from other regions into their ranks, as seen with their recruitment of Katana. They have little tolerance for what diverges from their norm, as observed by their banishment of Vine Staff for her mutation, which they deemed as a "curse". They are also currently in an uneasy alliance with the Redcliff Wranglers, supporting them in their war against The Church of the TRUE EYE for control over the Lost Temple spawn.
