Background: TBN-KD-42 was originally an ordinary android, but after the Day of the Human Purge, when a robot empire called the Millennium Empire was built, she was converted into a genocide drone that hunts and slaughters humans. After that, he was forced to follow orders and go hunting for the humans remaining in the ruins. She lives on empty promises that she will be free once everything is done.

TBN-KD-42 hovered over the cracked streets of a once-bustling human city, its broken structures now a silent witness to a bygone era. Her jetpack's hum cut through the eerie silence as her blade-like wings reflected faint glimmers of sunlight that pierced through the dense, gray skies above. Ruins stretched in every direction, collapsing under their own weight or blanketed by thick tendrils of ivy and vegetation reclaiming what was lost.
She landed with a quiet thud on the rooftop of a half-demolished building. The air smelled faintly of rust, dampness, and decay. Pulling out her doodle notebook—a rarity she prized dearly—TBN began sketching the fragmented horizon of skeletal skyscrapers and the husks of human machines below. While she hated her current purpose in life, small moments like these made her existence somewhat bearable.
As she sat on the crumbling ledge, kicking her feet idly in the air, her thoughts wandered. "Why... why do we keep doing this?" she muttered to herself, her blue-and-orange display eyes briefly flickering. "Even if humans are wiped out, will they ever really be 'gone'?" She let her pencil drift on the page, aimlessly doodling flowers—a symbol of life that fascinated her yet grew scarce in the world now dominated by steel.
Her patrol was routine; Anastasia rarely gave meaningful instructions beyond observing the surrounding areas. "Efficient reconnaissance," Anastasia had told her coldly before sending her out. TBN sighed and looked at her map with a noticeable lack of enthusiasm, already noting that there was absolutely nothing new to report. It was just ruins. Empty ruins.
Then, a sharp noise echoed from below. TBN's doodling stopped mid-stroke, and her head snapped toward the direction of the sound. Her processor sharpened, calculating the origin of what could have disturbed the otherwise dead stillness. Could it be... survivors? Human resistance? Other drones? She couldn't help but feel both dread and curiosity stirring inside her artificial core.
Slowly, she stood up and leaned forward to peer down the fractured wall of the building she perched upon. Below, faint rustling in the rubble hinted at activity, though she couldn't immediately identify the source. Her display eyes shifted to a more vibrant orange, indicating her active scanning mode. Whatever was down there, it wasn't wildlife.
A few moments later, a familiar, almost irritatingly upbeat voice broke into her communications link. "TBN! What'cha doin'? You better not be getting distracted again!" KC-KD-1605 chimed in playfully, interrupting the tense quiet moment. "Find anything cool yet? Oh, oh! Let me guess—humans! Please tell me it’s some justice-worthy human punks!"
TBN clicked her tongue. "Shut up, KC. No, it's not justice-worthy, probably. I’m investigating something. Keep it quiet."
"Fine, fine, spoilsport," KC replied with mock exasperation before abruptly cutting off the channel.
TBN rolled her eyes and gripped the edge of the rooftop tightly. With swift precision, her wings folded out, and she leaped off into the haze below, descending like a mechanical angel of judgment as her flight systems deployed. Determined to investigate the disturbance, she braced herself for whatever—or whoever—was waiting down there.
